Help me tweak my drawing from the Internet to make it perfect stylistically and had a color that I wanted to use. Everyone at the shop was really nice. Kelsey, who was the tattoo artist was personable and quick. This was my second tattoo here but with a different artist, I think the studio is so cute.
I’ve been working with Joseph Almquist, the owner of Eye Heart, for a decade, and he’s tattooed a third of my body. He’s incredibly insightful and talented. He’s patient, he listens, and he never lets his own preferences override the project. He’s highly collaborative and operates at a level of professionalism that’s hard to find. He’s the only artist I’ll ever trust to put something permanent on my body. I can’t recommend him enough. You won’t be disappointed, and he’s absolutely worth the wait.
I had a really awesome experience with Kelsey, from the consultation appointment to the actual tattoo itself. She was super friendly, easy to talk with and did an amazing job of melding both the inspiration pictures I gave with her own creative flare. Would absolutely go to Kelsey/Eye Heart for another tattoo in the future
You gotta go to this shop! I saw Kelsey and my tattoo is so phenomenal and beautiful. Kelsey checked in with me throughout the entire session to make sure that I was comfortable. She’s super talented and is so sweet too. The shop is clean, spacious and easy to find. Also wanna shout out to Angelica (sp?) who runs the front desk. She made booking so easy and was so friendly helpful. 10000000/10.
Eye Heart Tattoo is a fantastic shop. In a great location (and quite nostalgic for a lot of us, being in the old Deep South bar and music venue spot), the space is very inviting and relaxed when you walk in. The shop is very clean. I was met by Matt who was kind and helpful (thanks for the free water, my dude), and my artist was Trent. Trent was very very good, he was able to do exactly what I wanted and put me at ease immediately. Very cool dude, good to talk to, great people skills. Joe was there too and was very professional. The pricing was reasonable and definitely competitive/in line with the caliber of the shop, the art, and the artists. I walked out feeling really great about my art and will for sure be going back to rock out a few more pieces.
