My first time in Wales, after visiting the castle I spotted this tiny shop. Was curious about welshcakes, they had three different ones: a classic one, a milk chocolate one and an apricot and cinnamon one. I’ve got a milk chocolate and an apricot&cinnamon, they were still warm and absolutely delicious!!! The price was very good (65p a cake, such a shock for me coming from London lol) The only thing I was sad about that I didn’t get more 🤣 the service was nice, ladies were very polite and served me very quick. Overall, if I’m in Cardiff ever again, I’ll definitely visit this shop once again.
Absolutely incredible. You can smell them walking down the street! Warm and straight off the griddle. Choice of 3 flavours. A must visit when in Cardiff.
I’m not joking I’m addicted to their welsh cakes. You can smell them all the way down the street and that’s how I found out about this place🤣. The cakes are warm, fresh, comforting and absolutely delicious! I liked the classic more than the chocolate ones and I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t even like raisins! If I didn’t have any self control I would literally eat them everyday.
What a lovely treat. The staff were super friendly, site was clean and they had multiple types of Welshcakes to choose from. I’m now a convert and advocate for Welsh cakes. Thanks!
We tried the Welsh cakes and those were awesome. We were not knowing about the shop but saw people queuing up so went in. Recommended especially the milk chocolate ones.
