The property was beautiful and private and seemed secluded, set apart with the foliage and brick wall even though it was surrounded by a quiet neighborhood. The owners were very nice, the breakfast was great, the room was just right--the traditional bed and breakfast we hoped for.

I spent a night here because some friends rented a house in Cypress for a party Saturday night, and while poking around google maps I saw this place offering a room for $99 Sunday night and decided to have a mini vacation. I absolutely adored it here and if I'm ever in Brenham again I'll definitely stay here again! This is a classic true B&B experience in an absolutely lovely house with very pretty grounds. The location is great because it's a very short drive from downtown but in a residential neighborhood on a large lot surrounded by trees, so it's peaceful without being twenty miles outside the city. Breakfast was very good, too. There was a 2-pronged outlet by the bed and several 3-pronged outlets by the chair, so I was able to charge my phone and use my laptop. My only criticism is that the shower in my room (the library room) was uncomfortably slippery and could really use a mat to make it safer. The bathroom was also very small but that's just due to the constraints of the space and not something that could be changed. If you are much larger than me (5'3", size 20) you'll probably want to stay in one of the upstairs rooms. I found it very comfortable aside from the shower floor.

I stayed one night in the Library Room, I would definitely stay here again. The check-in process was simple and the room was very clean. The only issue I had was that the shower was a bit short and small- but I do know with the age of the property we should be glad to even have private bathrooms in each room! All in all a great stay.

My best friend and I stayed here during our visit to the Round Top Antique show. We had a very nice experience and the owners were super friendly/accommodating! We stayed in the Carriage House, very roomy and comfy. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

I only stayed here for one night but it was AMAZING! I lived out my Gilmore Girls dream in Brenham, TX & at this bed & breakfast inn. I stayed in the library room. Despite the home being old, it was very clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple and good. The property was beautiful. The location was amazing, very close to downtown and good food spots. I highly recommend this place!
