I popped in this Christmas to get two of my very first "starter watches" resized, cleaned up, and replace the batteries so I can pass them down to my young teenage children. I planned on paying the going rate for lifetime batteries, which is not cheap, but certainly worth it! When it was time to square up, they said that I had lifetime batteries in both timepieces! I haven't worn them in over 30 years, I forgot I bought the lifetime batteries. My point is, I love that they were honest! They could've charged me for new lifetime batteries and I wouldn't have even realized it! Honesty, it still exists!
I have taken several pieces of jewelry here before for sizing or repair but after this time I will not be back. I took a ring to be sized and was told it needed to have prongs replaced, loose stones secure and the sizing. The jeweler who looked at quoted me $539 to get it fixed and said if I come back he would give a 10% discount. A few hours later I go back he says he messed up on the quote and it would be $670 instead. I let him know that’s unreasonable and he should honor the quote but he throws the quote away. I told him I had taken a picture of it and want to talk to the owner or manager. I speak to the owner and he won’t honor the price, tells me I should have done it right away and I would have got that price. Where is your integrity as a business owner? This is just bad business!
Review / Feedback – Order #40962 (12/07/25) I want to acknowledge the excellent service I received from Amanda Martinez, who assisted me with replacing three watch batteries and adding a link to two bands. She was helpful, professional, and answered all of my questions. However, my experience with Eric Gutierrez was extremely negative. When I returned to pick up my watches, he handed them to me without the boxes I had brought. When I asked about the boxes, he ignored me until Amanda pointed him in the right direction. Throughout the interaction, Eric was disrespectful, dismissive, and confrontational. When I addressed his attitude, he doubled down instead of de-escalating. I repeatedly requested to speak with a manager—five times—and he refused, telling me, “Let’s just get this done.” He later claimed to be the manager himself. I ultimately asked for someone else to complete my transaction due to his behavior. Another employee came out, apologized for Eric’s conduct, and helped me finish. I requested Eric’s name and business card because the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism he displayed was unacceptable. Amanda provided excellent service, but my overall experience was overshadowed by Eric’s unprofessional behavior.
Truly a ‘fast fix repair’ offered with very professional and very serious repair sales personnel. One of few places that will solely replace watch batteries. Most folks just buy a new watch. For a ‘one year battery guarantee’ the cost of repair is a prohibitive $21.00. Add a new watch band and well, that would be triple the cost of my original watch. For more than a ‘one year’ guarantee, the price increases geometrically. If you use Google Maps, you can find parking and Google leads you inside as pedestrian. As I am ‘mall phobic’ this helped me find the store (ground floor). If you love your watch, perhaps an expensive one, this is one place to replace your battery as ‘box stores’ no longer provide that service. If you need to save money, well, an actual battery is five dollars or less. DIY if you dare. There are no seats in this store. As I do not care about further mall shopping, I sat on the floor (!) awaiting my watch repair which was indeed done quickly. A chair would’ve been an easy empathetic aid though could be weaponized by a thief; no other reason not to offer a chair.
The service for watch batteries and repairs is in the name #FastFix. They do have some tasteful jewelry pieces, especially earrings. Ask about a lifetime battery.
