FCS Clayworks ist ein einladendes Kunststudio, ein Treffpunkt für die Gemeinschaft und ein Veranstaltungsort in Garland. Besucher loben freundliche Dozenten, praxisorientierten Unterricht und anfängerfreundliche Kurse im Handaufbau, Töpfern am Rad und Slip-Gießen. Amazing experience with Melissa! We had a blast trying ceramics for the first time. It was super casual but informative. Teacher was a blast, very hands on, and had a way of teaching that was easy to follow and fun. We each made 2 pieces and got to pick our glazes for our work. Eager to take some friends for another visit!
Taking this class was the best impulsive decision i made in 2025! resparked my love for creativity and gave me a great space to be a beginner at something. Melissa is an incredible teacher and made class so engaging, but super insightful. super excited to get my membership.
Joining John and the crew at FCS for a beginners class was a fantastic experience. He was excellent at meeting you at your skill level and the class itself was a great time. Plus having a finished product at the end is definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend if you even have a passing interest in working with clay!
We went here for my husband’s birthday and had so much fun!! John was an excellent instructor and he was so patient! The prices are excellent and the experience is one we won’t forget!! Can’t wait to see the things we made! Thanks FCS Clayworks!
My wife and I signed up for a hand building class one random day and the next thing we knew we had signed up for a wheel throwing class, gone to a slip casting class, and found ourselves making the drive to Garland (an hour plus drive for us) just about every chance we get. We have had so much fun learning a new skill and love the welcoming community that surrounds this place. Whether you are looking for a place to grow your pottery skill or just looking for an amazing creative community and a fun new hobby FCS is the place for you.
