From the first time we spoke to Jimmy we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He completely got our music taste and the vibe we wanted for the wedding. Everyone loved the music on the night and he made the party come alive! We couldn’t have been happier and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ with a real passion for music! The best!!
The short version is: Book Festival Wedding DJs and you won’t regret it. The long version: We spent AGES looking for a DJ for a wedding. We knew we wanted a DJ (when I’m singing along to Angels at the end of the night like I’m on stage at Wembley, I want to actually hear Robbie Williams), but we didn’t want all the cheesy mic work that you associate with weddings… and we needed a DJ who could actually mix! Jimmy was incredible. Both unobtrusive and the MOST important person in the room, we were complimented so many times on the night and after about how good the tunes were. Our friends can often be found in the smoking area rather than cutting shapes with us (we’ve been the only people on the dancefloor at weddings before!) but the dancefloor was full and the vibes were SO GOOD. We had an incredibly picky friend who regularly does paid DJ work come up to us halfway through and say “WHO is your DJ?! These mixes are INSANE” and that just about sums it up. We got the sing alongs, we got the garage, we even got the Bhangra we requested. Jimmy was able to seamlessly change the vibe to fit the moment and we cannot thank him enough. All we wanted after a long day was to end our wedding dancing all night side by side, and we got that moment. Thank you!
Jimmy was fantastic! He had such a relaxed vibe and was great to work with — really easy to communicate with. The music was brilliant and exactly what we wanted: a great mix of genres that everyone loved. The dance floor was packed all night, right through to the very end!
We booked Jimmy after picking up a Festival wedding DJ card from an event at Clapton Country Club...and we're so glad we did!! Jimmy was super helpful in the lead up to the wedding, speaking to the venue about his setup and being more than accommodating of our variety of genres. The end result was an amazing mix on the big day that kept everyone on the dance floor until the very last song!! We had so many comments afterwards on how great the party was and it was Jimmy that brought the vibes!! 10/10!!
We booked Jimmy for our wedding after listening to a few of his sets and reading through all the glowing reviews. The whole process was really easy, Jimmy was quick to respond to our messages and created a great tailored experience for us based on the tracks we sent to him in preparation for the day. He was very relaxed with on the day schedule changes and created a wonderful energy that everyone in the room loved. Couldn't have asked for more really whole experience was very easy and Jimmys set was very impressive 10/10 would recommend! Thanks again Jimmy!
