Rented a 200-500m ED lens for my Nikon D-850 the past weekend to snap pics of elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Park. Great price, great lens, great experience with Fireside's staff. When I rented I brought along my d850 to make sure the system worked well and the staff were extremely helpful about caring for the lens and how to get the best snaps. The advice paid off and I'm very happy with the pics. Fireside deserves a lot of credit: Nikon wants DSLR owners to upgrade to the Z-series, but I'm one of the many hold outs. Thanks to Fireside, I can rent compatible lenses and continue to get value from my D850 (I've included some snaps from this weekend's photo safari). Thank you Fireside !
Came in to rent 2 high end Sony and canon cameras for 3 days to try before I bought (presumably there). Had nothing helpful say about the cameras. Wouldn’t budge on the three day rental even though it was an hour before close and already dark. So much for buying locally over online. Back to online and getting advice from YouTube. At least I tried to give a local business a chance. I guess they don’t want business.
The staff is just so friendly and helpful. Bought a camera there yesterday and they take the time to make sure you have everything you need. They deserve all the stars. Support your local small businesses!
I came in exactly at 5:03pm and they close at 6pm according to their Google Maps. When I spoke with the guy that was wearing the glasses he seemed uninterested in doing business. And was in a rush. Why? Idk 😂 I wanted to buy a camera the Sony a6700 but I don’t think he wants customers after 5pm. All good tho. Also he was acting all smart when I asked them about calling couple of days ago. He was like okayyy? And??🙄. I drove all the way from Dublin btw😂😂
I just received my mother's point and shoot camera. I could not find any booklet to show how to use the camera. The gentlemen whom I have seen before helped me not only load the battery and guided me which film to use. It's been a while to know how to load it. Now I am all set and ready to practice. This location has been here for years, and they know everything about cameras. They also have a place where they can process our photos. Thank you!
