Very happy and glad that I chose First Class Roofing. Brian and his team did an awesome job.First off, I did have 5 proposals and inspections done from reputable roofing companies after checking and reading reviews, and backgrounds from the BBB and the State Business offices. I was quickly able to narrow it down to two perspective companies. Both offered what I was looking for in my roofing job. But, I found that Brian was very responsive to my questions and follow up phone calls and willing to go the extra in helping accomplish my goals for our roof. Timing was important due to solar installation. He explained thoroughly what they would do and the materials they would use. He also addressed a main concern of mine of a leaking area right over our porch and how it would be resolved. Our prior roofing company never fixed or repaired it properly after 3 times which created a safety hazard when ever it rained. No leaks now and looks clean and solid. They also use Malarkey shingles which I did want after doing some clicking and research on various websites. I chose the Highlander shingle in the Ivory Mist color due to its solar reflectance and that it meets Cool Roof requirements. And with the installation of roof vents, we are able to tell the difference in temperature on those hot-humid days. We don't have to use the AC as often, but when we do, the house cools down faster. On the first day of the job, the foreman showed up early and I had a nice conversation with him as he explained what would be happening during the next two days. The whole crew were very friendly, respectable, and friendly. They worked nonstop removing my old roof and prepping the way for the new installation. On the flat roof area, it was planned to be silicone coated and proper preparation is very important for a good seal. I was impressed by how thorough they were. They had put sheet plastic around the whole house to catch any debris and protect our walkways and plants. At the end of the day they cleaned it all up and made sure the grounds were clear of any debris. Everything was in good shape. No damages. The next day, they efficiently began the installation of my roof shingles and roof coatings. All went smoothly and they did not mind me watching and taking some photos, of course at a respectful distance to them as they worked. Brian and the foreman kept me updated. At the end of day, they again did a complete check and cleanup of our grounds. During the time, Brian and the workers shared insights and their years of experience and knowledge with me. Very helpful and considerate. On the third day Brian (owner), showed up to do a final inspection and finalize the roof coating, insuring all was covered and properly done. Wow! Now I know why they have so many five Star reviews. Do your research before hiring a roofing company, so many out there. But, if you are looking for a company that has integrity, uses quality materials, and quality and experienced workmanship, is respectful of you and your property, very fair pricing, is open and responsive to questions and phone calls. Then give Brian and First Class Roofing a call first and you probably won't have to look any further. Highly recommend.
Bryan and his crew did an outstanding job replacing my wood rot fascia, adding drip edges all around, and replacing my much needed roof. The crew did a sensational job and Bryan made sure it was an A+ finish! It sure was a First Class experience from start to finish and I highly recommend First Class Roofing.
Fantastic experience with Bryan and his team. Price was significantly better than several other quotes I received from some “big name” roofing companies on Oahu. I was scheduled quickly, got lots of updates throughout the process. The team showed up on time, worked hard all day, and replaced my 45 year old composite shake roof with new aluminum shakes in 2 days total. I’ve already recommended them to several neighbors.
We recently replaced our roof and have been impressed with Bryan’s professionalism and quality of work beginning with our initial meeting; receiving a great value quote; accommodating my schedule; and final walk-thru. His crew was punctual, performed effectively during unforeseen wind conditions, and always left our property clean. Highly recommend this company! The owner, Bryan was very responsive from the initial quote to after the job was done. He answered every question we had, made things easy to understand, and his crew did a good job. My roof looks awesome. His workers were courteous and hard working. They finished my roof in one day. We made the right choice. I chose First Class because my neighbor got her roof done, and she recommended Bryan. My wife decided on First Class by the positive reviews she saw. I did my due diligence by contacting a couple other roofing companies but timely response is a big factor for me, and the others dragged their feet in responding. Mahalo Bryan 🤙
