I was a walk in that was serviced immediately and was out within 1.5 hours! It was a slow day because it had snowed heavy the night before so I got lucky. I rarely get my nails done but I wanted something special for my graduation that day. Staff were helpful with suggestions on what service I should get. I was impressed by the amount of cat eye colors they had. I had a lovely and sweet tech that I didn’t get the name of but she was Cuban. She listened to what I wanted and used my reference photos. She asked if I was happy with my nails before moving on to next steps which I appreciated. I ended up getting gel x almond shaped cat eye french tip and I was very happy with the results! However, I was surprised by how much it was because I didn’t think my design was that extra but that’s just my opinion! It was $91 including tip. ONE WEEK UPDATE I see one nail lifting but the rest are locked in! I did get a small painful bump on my fingertip. It could be completely unrelated but the only thing out of my normal routine for what my hands do is that I got my nails done so that’s why I’m including it here. I also included a picture of my pointer nail where the cat eye got messed up while my tech was doing it but I’m not that bothered by it. Overall I would go to this place again and get something cheaper because the service was great!
I wanted a simple manicure with some clear gel polish. Just to keep my nails looking neat and well-kept. I got great service. My technician, Nina, did a fantastic job. She was attentive, gentle, and took time to get to know me a bit. I'm not really comfortable with being touched (even when I'm at the barber shop), but I did not feel too anxious or not out-of-place at First Lady Nails. The employees make great conversation and take interest in their customers. I even spoke a bit to the customer sitting next to me. It was really just an overall pleasant experience, which means a lot to someone like me (who is used to feeling awkward around others, or like I don't belong because of how I look). Thank you again, Nina. I will be back. Edit: I don't know how to add a picture of my nails (I'm on the Google app), but I have the same review posted on Yelp.
I’m hoping to grow out my natural nails and want a gel overlay to keep them strong. They listened carefully to what I wanted and Sophie was very gentle with the drill. My overlay is perfect! It’s the right amount of bulk for my thin nails without them feeling globby. I let her pick the nude shade and it’s just right, it evens out my stained nails and still look natural. The vibes were on point and Ms Nina was so kind, she even gave me a cuticle oil on my way out the door! Your nails are in good hands here
Absolutely love this salon. It’s very a clean, relaxing environment. The staff are always kind and friendly. There are so many new nail colors and designs. They offer a wide range of services including GEL X which I’m obsessed with and they always get me in and out in a decent amount of time. Definitely my go to spot for a great nail experience.
I’ve been going to this salon for 4 years now and have only positive experiences! My regular tech Destini is the best in the salon! Her technique and attention to detail is admirable. I constantly get complimented on my nails and any design I show her she can do for me. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The salon is also always clean and they are timely.
