Phil came to my house today to do the seasonal maintenance of our heating system. He was very respectful, asked me if we were having any issues and addressed my concerns with clear explainations. After he did his thing he showed me a few things that could have further maintenance or be replaced. The company has created some money-saving bundles for common maintenance needs that are also very helpful. He was not pushy about agreeing to those fixes immediately and was happy for me to discuss them with my husband before deciding. This was a great experience overall. I would recommend first rate to others.
I cannot say enough good things about the plumbers Valentino and Enrique, with Firstrate, that came to my house today! They were both very professional and kind. They were very knowledgeable and took care of my thermostat and a leak with ease.They really went above and beyond. I had a non-plumbing issue and asked if while under the house he could look to see if my shower was leaking, and Valentino took pics for me! Then my car alarm went off and Enrique checked to make sure there wasnt an intruder. I really appreciate having professional plumbers like them. Their excellent service and kindness was the best! I will definitely stay with Firstrate with them in my corner!
called to get someone to go check a furnace and to quote me on a sewer line replacement for a 4 plex I own. Lady was extremely rude saying if I wasn’t going to be there in person for the heater service that I needed to give them my credit card to put on file. I said that was fine and to send me an invoice so I could pay the 79 dollars and she refused to do that demanding I give her my credit card number. When I said I didn’t hav my card on me she again rudely said “well when you have the card call me back”. I was paying for a diagnostic. I’m not preauthorizing unknown service and I’m not going to give my credit card upfront for them to charge whatever they want to charge. I didn’t even get to ask about the sewer line replacement before she hung up on me. No clue how they have such high ratings. She must be new or the owners wife cause that was horrible service In response to the owners response nothing got uneasy when asked for payment. I offered multiple times to pay in advance for the service fee. I asked multiple times to send me the invoice and i would pay the service call before they came out. Honesty goes a long way in this world and this response tells me everything I need to know about making the right decision to spend my money elsewhere. Claiming there was empathy on the call is laughable. I went out of my way to try to pay in advance for a diagnosis which is all I wanted when I called. The diagnosis I got for free from a competitor was a full replacement which if you listened to my call you would know that’s what you were going to tell me as well since I clearly said the heater was very old. Thanks for saving me 79 dollars.
John Martin came out yesterday for HVAC maintenance. He was very professional yet friendly. He explained what the issues were and provided me with options. I chose to replace the motor & he returned today to install it. He was prompt in arriving when he said he would and efficient in the replacement process. He also did a temperature and carbon monoxide check. He’s the best technician I’ve had in a long time. I would like for John to be the sole technician for future HVAC concerns. Thank you John for a job well done!
I'm so glad I called this company. They called and said they had someone a day earlier than booked so that was great. John came out when he said he would and was very professional. He's a veteran and I appreciated his advice and work since my husband is deployed. Got the AC working in less than 30 minutes. I am very happy with this service, I'd definitely call them in the future for anything I need. Highly recommend!!!
