Two of Adam’s awesome guides agreed to take our family out on an adventure very last minute when another local guide canceled on us. We did the hike and wade trip with my dad, husband and 8 and 11yr old boys. We had beautiful scenery, all while learning fly fishing basics from guides who have tons of patience and expertise. Everyone caught trout and grayling while laughing and sharing stories. Our boys are begging for us to buy them fly rods to use back home on our Wisconsin streams! The trip was a core memory for this Mama, who was able to sit back and absorb this awesome experience with all my boys. Thank you Shaun and Kyle!!

Our group of 4 had an amazing time with Orion. Having never fly fished before, Orion gave great instruction and was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the day. The gear provided was awesome as well. Fly fishing in Alaska has been on my bucket list forever and I’m very grateful to Adam for help in setting this up and Orion for the instruction and guidance throughout the day. - Sally

Myself, my husband, my dad and my 2 teenage boys were on vacation in Alaska in July. We booked an all day float trip with FishHound Expedition and we are so glad we did!! We had a blast learning how to fly fish and catching a lot of salmon. We had 2 rafts and or 2 guides Dan and Keegan were amazing! They seemed to know the creek very well and what flies were the best to catch what we needed to. It was pretty cool that we had reindeer bratwurst and drinks (including beer!) right on the creek! We saw a golden eagle eating a fish as well. All and all this was an amazing experience we won’t forget! I highly recommend this excursion if you’re in this area!! Thanks again Dan and Keegan!!

We had the best time fly fishing with our guides Wyatt and Kyle! They did an amazing job teaching us how to fly fish, about wildlife conservation, and cooked a good campfire lunch! They let us try out multiple different flies to see what worked best for us, and pointed out different animals and fauna along the way. It’s definitely worth it and we would love to do it again.

We had the best time fly fishing with our guide Ryan this past Sunday in Willow Creek! Just a great guy and knowledgeable about the area and fly fishing! The water was high so there wasn’t great hopes of catching fish, but Ryan had the spots! I caught the most beautiful leopard rainbow trout , still can’t believe it! Not to mention the 5 or six other fish we caught throughout the trip. We had the time of our lives even as exhausted as we were. I can’t say enough great things about Ryan , great guide, teacher and just one of the coolest people we’ve met. Hands down would do this trip again! Thanks for the amazing memories!! 5 stars all the way! (Lunch was great too!!)
