I brought my newer Subaru here for routine care on the recommendation of friends, and was really pleased. Scheduling was easy, I was in and out within an hour (hardly enough time for a treat at Ginkgo Coffeehouse!) the price was reasonable, and - best yet - Milli called me asking for my ok to perform additional maintenance at a cost of about $40. (She said she doesn’t spend another person’s money - even it’s a just $1 - without their permission). They’re also just 3 miles from my home - far preferable to driving to burbs for a potential upsell. THIS is the sort of business I want to return to. Extremely glad that I’ve found them.

Honest, quick, skilled and good communication! What more can you ask for?! Milli took great care of my sisters Subaru after she was stranded in town with an oil leak. They ordered parts, turned it around quickly and got her on the road safely the next day. I brought my Town Car in for an intake manifold replacement and experienced the same great service. The Molinaro’s in the Twin Cities have a newfound loyalty to Milli and the Stars ✌️💜

I mean, it's really in the name. My husband was in town for work, and needed some quick maintenance on his truck, an older vehicle (2002). The truck had been throwing codes, and what we speculated to be wrong was not the case. They successfully diagnosed and addressed the root cause instead of what we believed to have been the issue. They were fully booked, but still accommodated my husband's availability and squeezed him in. They were open and honest about the procedure and the price. It even ended up being a little cheaper than initially quoted. They were kind and professional, and the truck was fixed in 24 hours. His truck is now running and performing better than it has since we purchased it last year. A personal thank you if you're reading this. My husband and I have been taken advantage of before because we, not being mechanics of course, have inquired about an issue we thought we were having, and when the last place took a look and saw that the mentioned area was fine. They looked no further, charged us an awful lot of money, and sent us on our way with a STILL busted vehicle. It meant a lot to us that you all went the extra mile. Truly Five Star Auto Service.

Milli was great at communicating when I was working with a complicated schedule and needed to book an appointment. She was very friendly at the shop and sent over a very clear report on what she did to inspect the car, what she found, how the problems could be addressed, and cost expectations. She responded very quickly and was able to do the needed repairs by the end of day. Overall, Five Star Auto provides high quality, transparent, and efficient services, I will definitely be returning if my car is in need of any repair.
