I've been practicing here for a good few months now and it's just a really welcoming, lovely, place to be. There are a range of different classes depending on what pace you want. There are also meditation classes available. I have previously struggled a bit with meditation but Tracey makes it accessible and easy to get into. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nurturing space to do yoga and feel better. As a bonus there is beautiful art work on the walls and occasional visits from squish the dog.
Best yoga class I’ve been to in a long time. It was so good I went back for another one the following day, despite being a visitor to Canberra. Such a lovely vibe - the people who run it are incredibly warm and welcoming, the art on the walls is amazing, and the studio is beautiful. Great sound too. I’ll be back every time I visit Canberra!
Tracey and her partner Mike have created a beautiful space at Flow and Food Yoga & Ayurveda. The studio has been a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental place for me - I discovered it when I had returned to Canberra after some time away and needed a physical and mental health ‘boost’. I now return whenever I can, especially for the Ayurveda seasonal cooking workshops. I highly recommend Tracey’s studio.
The Hatha practice was a beautiful way to start the day and the tea was a lovely ritual. The studio is nice, although can be a little warm. Tracey and Muriel are both excellent. The quality equipment is in good repair. The staff are friendly and warm. The location is good, although I don't know if there's any parking. The tram stops nearby but most people seem to walk or cycle. The trial price is good value, particularly if you go and try a few different classes. The classes are all slightly different so it is nice to have this option. I love that they offer sound baths and Ayurveda and I overheard talk of a yoga retreat. A lovely studio with a great vibe. Mostly younger attendees but there are some older people too.
I love the way Tracey takes us through the poses with just the right amount of instruction. She's super clear and confident and knowledgeable! So good!! It's also just a really lovely community of people who go and the art on the walls of the studio makes it even better. Just a beautiful beautiful space!! Lucky to have found it 😊
