Forklift did an incredible job on our recent wedding. The first caterer we had chosen let us know that they were unable to cater the wedding a few months before the date. They told us that they would only use Forklift for their own wedding and made the introduction. Kristen was able to take over without skipping a beat and set up a tasting immediately. We were blown away by the food – absolutely delicious. Kristen curated the perfect menu for our vision and suggested a family-style set-up, which was perfect for our small wedding of 80 people. The presentation and variety of options was also very impressive. Many of our guests told us that it was the best food they had ever tasted (let alone at a wedding) and that they wished that they had a restaurant! The staff was so professional – they made the evening seamless and perfect. We could not recommend Forklift more for any catering needs you may have!
We chose Forklift catering for our 2-day event at and their service was fantastic. The team arrived on site before 5:30 AM and stayed late in the afternoon. This was a high profile event and their staff was organized, efficient, and professional. I also appreciated collaborating with our catering manager, Emily Guadiana, during the planning process in the months leading up to our event. She was poised, flexible and creative. Emily was able to balance last minute changes and allergies with grace. I have already reached out to Forklift to cater our next event!
I honestly can't recommend Forklift enough. They are truly professionals at what they do, and it shows from booking to executing! My husband and I both went to culinary school and are in the restaurant industry, so we wanted delicious food and really good service. Emily was our event manager, and was AMAZING at her job. She was extremely kind and empathetic throughout the entire process, and also extremely responsive. People are still saying that the food they had at our wedding was the best food they've ever had at a wedding before. And people couldn't believe the service was as good as it was either. If you're undecided, please take this as a sign to book Forklift!
Genuinely the highlight of my event was forklifts reception they did with us. The service was seamless and super supportive. They went above and beyond my expectations and they’re presentation is impeccable. Note that this was our most expensive option but you get what you pay for. They are super professional! The items were petite and delicious. It’s amazing how much flavour was packed into their vegetarian items as well as non vegetarian items. The stationary items were in small bowls for presentation but constantly refilled throughout the night. Also all the wait staff were expected to know dietary restrictions which was super important so it was great to tout their great service across our guests. Would recommend them across the board if you can afford it.
I cannot recommend Forklift enough!! If you are looking for creativity, flexibility, and the most amazing special touches for your wedding, look no further than Forklift. Seriously. From planning to execution, everything was truly flawless. Kristen worked with us to create a completely customized menu of all our favorite foods and drinks (AND with multiple celiacs in my family, a 100% gluten free menu — apps, dinner, and dessert). They went way above and beyond - recommending other vendors, helping us with design questions, to executing on even our craziest requests (e.g. tacos and frozen margaritas, and somehow made it classy?). Everything was plated beautifully, the day-of staff were amazing, and all of the little details came together perfectly. Our guests are still talking about the food! A sincere thank you to all at Forklift for making all of our catering dreams come true :)
