An educators purpose is to encourage others. To equip others with knowledge and empower their students. I would have loved to have watched Erika demonstrate more, as she makes this looks SO easy to do! But a passionate educator wants not only to show how good they are at something, but to also bring that good out of their students. I personally felt I would learn best by observing, BUT…. Erika gave me the confidence needed to actually perform this service on a model. She was very thorough in answering any questions our group had and made sure we had an understanding before moving on. I had been contemplating for quite some time when I would begin the smp journey. I truly feel it was meant for me to wait for this time, as I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
