I was looking forward to checking out this generational French antique shop. They have beautiful items but the reason I’m giving them 2 star is because they’re “hand-made, lamb silk, crystal purses” are a scam. They charge between $395-$450 for these purses that you get on Amazon, SHEIN, or Wal-Mart for $50-$80. The sales representative of this family owned business lied right to my face about the authenticity. When I got back to my hotel room to find the label popped off and crystals already falling out I did a quick google to see the real deal. They’re closed on Sundays, but thankfully we didn’t fly out until Monday and were able to get a full refund. Hence the two stars.
The phone etiquette is quite poor, and the person is not very friendly.
The owners (father and son) / staff were very friendly and ready to help as soon as I walked in. There was a beautiful variety of antiques and modern items of all price points. I didn’t want to spend much but wanted a souvenir so I purchased their set of painted coasters.
Beautiful antique shop with lots of lighting for your high ceiling character home.
Even though I'm born and raised in the city, or possibly because of that fact, I've haven't always explored the things in the areas around me; but since I had the extra time, and work only a block away, I decided to go into the shop and look around at all the cool things that they had. While I was there I decided to also make a Tik-Tok about it because I thought it was pretty cool and the owners were very accommodating and nice enough to show me around and tell me a lot of the history which made the shop that much more interesting to me. The more than anything else they just had a lot of cool stuff, and if I was a billionaire, and even though I'm not I would definitely go back after a paycheck and find something fun and antique. I was also told that they are open to doing photo shoots there as well so if you're a photographer and they're looking for a really cool vintage looking place with lots of antiques to make your photography look that much more pristine I would definitely recommend this place.
