I have enjoyed French Gourmet since the 70's. They have the best baguettes. My favorite cookie is the thumbprint., oh my! The quiche and salad lunch is delicious.I love the salad dressing. We bought a Kings cake last week.
I’ve visited French Gourmet Bakery on and off over the past two years, but today I finally tried one of their sandwiches—a whole turkey on baguette. It was delicious and incredibly fresh. I’m honestly puzzled why I didn’t order it sooner. I’ll definitely be returning next week for another one.
We have been going there for over 40 years. Our girls grew up on their chocolate chip cookies. The service and quality has always been very high. We love the French Gourmet and looking forward to a long relationship.
The bakery’s aesthetic is beautifully done. With the presentation of the baked goods, the design and the decor, along with a complimenting friendly service, and reasonable prices. I will find myself coming back here again. I had the jalapeño and cheese kolache and it was delicious. In a perfect soft and flakey croissant bun, along with 2 complimenting slices of jalapeño. It by definition was a perfect kolache. Also for first timers they give you a complimentary thumbprint cookie!! The raspberry was my favorite choice. 😋
Found this place when searching for fresh baguettes. Their baguette is the best in the city - perfect crust, explodes with texture and so soft and fresh inside. Pair with Red Beans & Rice , fantastic experience! Plus the sweets are crazy good - never had a better coconut macaroon - ever!!
