Fabulous Japanese cuisine. Very friendly and helpful staff. We tried the Teppanyaki salmon and lamb chops which were both perfectly cooked. Urfon noodles delicious and some of the best sushi roll we have tasted. The chef came out to introduce himself and to explain about the way they source their ingredients that they are the freshest and tastiest. We will definitely be going back.

I remember ordering oyakodon from Fujiyama back in 2017 and it was amazing !!!!! It became a regular meal options for me until I moved out of Bristol in 2020. When I arrived back to Bristol in 2025 I ordered oyakodon using Deliveroo and boy was I disappointed. The meal before consisted of a perfect balance of egg, chicken, onions, rice and the Sauce, it tasked amazing but now it’s bland ! Hardly any sauce and it was full of frozen vegetables which makes the meal taste awful ! I ate a quarter of it and chucked the rest in the bin. Please don’t let this make you not wanna visit the restaurant as the staff are accommodating and the other food they make is great just don’t order the oyakodon you will regret it.

My partner and I enjoyed a delightful dinner here after a day out in Bristol. All dishes were fresh and tasty, and the presentation was fun and full of colour. Our server was also friendly and served us with a smile

Absolutely delicious Japanese food, the sashimi was so fresh and tasty, some of the best I've ever had. Great friendly service, nice bottled beers and enjoyed hot and cold sake. Skewers and octopus balls absolutely world class, thank you!

100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again
