first time. simple breakfast. it wasn't good. bacon was refrigerator cold. eggs were not even close to cooked right. I would have tried to send it back but after the food came they never approached us again the entire visit. I wouldn't recommend it.
Today was my 1st Time visiting and It was wonderful I had a Nice Spread of Pancakes and Sausage Scramble 😊 The Food was Fantastic!! A Great new Find. My Server was very attentive. I definitely will be back!
If you are looking for amazing fried catfish in Garland look no further. Garland Cafe has the best catfish basket for $9.99 + tax. I have to say this is hands down the best fried catfish I’ve had in a very long time. You get 2 good sized, perfectly battered and very well seasoned catfish, fries pro tip ask for it with seasoning, 2 hush puppies very delicious, and coleslaw (I typically don’t care for coleslaw, but this was great not too much Mayo and the slaw held its crunch). The staff is very sweet and the service is fast.
The staff were pleasant and promptly assisted us. Shortly following ordering, our food was ready. The food was fine. Of course, the Mrs. & I both had to take a carryout. I will definitely stop there again for breakfast and will likely soon try out some other things other than breakfast.
This is a solid spot for American dinner food, a quaint place that would go unnoticed. Garland Cafe is nestled in a quiet strip mall, and unless you look for it, you would never know it is there. I was able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with quick, friendly service and prices that are hard to beat. Generous positions and the flair of the local patrons set this spot apart from bigger national chain dinners. All the food was cooked well and served in a clean environment.
