It has been years since we had been at Garlic Brothers. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to sit by the water. We came here and sat outside on their patio that faces the Delta Waterway. My wife ordered their Fish & Chips with Garlic Fries. It wasn’t like other fish & chips. Not really a batter on the fish and my wife said the fish was not flaky. She said it was ok. I ordered their Fish Sandwich which was pretty good served on a Chibatta Roll with fries. Our server was attentive and it seems like all of their servers did a good job at their respective tables. Overall nice meal and a good time.

Here’s what stood out during my visit: 🍽 Food Quality • The dishes were cooked perfectly — flavorful, fresh, and nicely presented. • The grilled chicken was tender with a nice smoky char. • The sides were equally delicious — creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts. • Tried another dish with rice, fresh veggies, avocado, and drizzled sauce — full of color and balanced flavors. 👨🍳 Service • The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. • Food arrived promptly and everything was served hot and fresh. • They made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. 🌅 Ambiance & View • Beautiful waterfront view that creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere. • Great spot for lunch, dinner, or a casual hangout with friends and family. • Outdoor seating lets you enjoy the breeze and scenery — perfect for sunset dining. ✨ Overall Experience • Clean, comfortable setting with a great vibe. • Consistently good food and service make this a spot worth coming back to. • Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of great food, great people, and a beautiful view.
This was good spot to hit after playing golf. Overall it is a good place. My friends were satisfied with their meals and for the most part mine was okay as well. Where they fell short on the food was that the largest fry on my garlic fries order was about 1" long with everything else being crumbs. Felt like what ever was left on the bottom was dumped on my plate. The other area where they fell short was with the server. When I pointed out the fries to my server, rather than apologize, her response was, "I just bring out what they put on the plate". Now, this was my experience and I'm sure your experience may be much diffrent.
Been twice for two different birthdays. First time was excellent, not a complaint. Second time was an extremely busy Saturday night and they were SLAMMED! I won't bore with the details but management and server, plus additional staff, did EVERYTHING you could ever hope for when dealing with several issues. We will return and you should go! Just maybe not when they are so busy. You'll want to soak up the atmosphere and the chill vibes from their awesome staff. I hear Monday nights are great for both PRICE, SERVICE, AND AMBIANCE! Food is really good any day of the week!
I forgot about this gem on the water, and wish I took better pics for you all, but know it’s a great location, excellent outdoor seating to enjoy the view, food, company, drinks, etc., great indoor bar, and indoor seating as well. Parking can be tough in the front area, but there is ample parking along the boat marina. As to the food, it’s actually surprisingly awesome. The menu has numerous options, and none have let me down. In the pictures here, I show their shrimp appetizer, bacon-wrapped duck appetizer, and their gumbo. It’s all excellent, especially in Stockton of all places. This place is definitely worth the visit. It’s basically at the end of Benjamin Holt, a minute or two west of I-5. It’s nestled away and easy to miss, but don’t miss it, you’ll thank me later!
