I do plenty of research before headshots, not only for talent but for the overall “vibe” - behind the camera you need to feel comfortable to let your authenticity shine through with direction that allows it to be stapled to the final product. Gary knows his craft well and delivers! From the first email, to the detail in preparation, to schematics of arrival, it’s obvious he cares not only for the photography, but for the experience his business offers. 110/10. Gary was my first choice photographer before I got signed with an agency. After I was signed, he was one of the recommended photographers for headshots. He was very polite, professional, and overall did an AMAZING job at capturing my light. I'm very satisfied with his work and will definitely be recommending him to others.

Gary did a fantastic job with my headshots! Even my coaches (who are very finicky) were impressed! He was quick to respond to texts or emails, was very accommodating to my specific requests, and went out of his way to make sure I got the right looks for my brands! His makeup artist, Becca, was a true gem to work with as well! The whole experience was 5 star!

I will admit, I was surprisingly nervous to get my portrait done when I pulled into Mr. Barragan's parking lot. However, I was immediately greeted at the door and ushered inside, where I felt right at home. Gary was welcoming, kind, and professional from start to finish. He helped coach me to get the best headshot and my final proofs almost made it to my inbox before I arrived home! If I ever have to do professional portraits again, whether for myself, my family, or work, I will absolutely be going back to Mr. Barragan! If you are in Louisville or the surrounding area, I highly suggest using Mr. Barragan to not only have a fantastic experience, but you will also support a small business owner and fellow veteran!

Gary’s online booking was very convenient. He has weekend availability so I was able to schedule my photo session for a Saturday afternoon. His makeup artist, Becca, is so kind and very talented. She stayed for the duration on the photo shoot so she could adjust my makeup if needed. I was finished within an hour and my photos were lovely. Great experience overall!
