i love the selection here. some cheap fast fashion pieces that aren’t bad but some genuine vintage clothing. the atmosphere is cool and the employees are super nice.
This store might have the best clothes for cheapest especially vintage stylein Sydney. Lots of unique styles if you look through the racks properly. Some of the clothes are low-key trash- like they sell an extremely worn out child's tshirt that is a bit ugly no offence for like $20. Ain't Noone buying ts (they have racks of these). Half the clothes are resold from taobai and Ali express and then uppriced for pretty high prices. The change room curtains don't close all the way and there's only like 2 change rooms so it's always really crowded and the line is real long. Furthermore the change rooms don't have mirrors which is really annoying. Really cramped store layout which makes me hate shopping here. There are some gems though so it makes up for it. I #miss cheep store.
get wasted is amazing! they have such a good variety of clothes and accessories, and everything is super affordable. the staff are always really nice and helpful too. definitely one of my fave stores 💖
I went to this store with my best friend tonight, and we were really shocked by how we were treated. We were in the fitting room when we heard there were only 5 minutes left before closing, so we hurried to finish. I took both my clothes and my friend’s clothes to pay while she stayed behind to tidy up the items we didn’t take. (We didn’t realize the store was closing, there were still lots of people inside.) As soon as I stepped out, a guy (young) started saying we were leaving a mess behind, even though my friend was still cleaning. We’ve always been respectful customers, we always put everything back properly, and they can check the cameras if they want. When my best friend went to the counter, she kindly told the cashier (who was really lovely) that the man didn’t need to speak to us that way. He overheard her and came over, saying, “If you’ve got something to say, say it to my face!” He started yelling, saying we weren’t supposed to be in the fitting room and that we were going to leave a mess behind. We both told him, twice, that it wasn’t true and that my friend was cleaning everything up. She even said he could check the cameras. He kept shouting anyway, accusing us again and again, and then he told us to leave the store. It’s the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience in this store, because I’ve always gotten along really well with the other staff members, they are all so kind and professional. Afterward, I even apologized to the cashier and explained that we were truly sorry; we didn’t know the store was about to close and we arrived a bit late. We really tried our best to leave as fast as possible. This is absolutely not an acceptable way to treat customers. I’ve worked in retail before, and when a customer isn’t happy, the best way to handle it is always to speak calmly and find a solution. Even in everyday life, that’s just basic respect. But in this case, he started yelling before we had even spoken to him. I think he was just frustrated because it was closing time and decided to take it out on us.
Good quality clothing just under the price of $40. I managed to find a couple of pieces that I wanted to get but it was either too big or too small for me so that was unfortunate.
