I absolutely love this little shop! I’ve been coming here for years, and Whitney is always so kind, accommodating, and genuinely encouraging. She curates the most wonderful selection of unique gifts and novelties — it’s truly one of my favourite stores in Hamilton. Whether I’m picking up a gift, a souvenir, or just treating myself, I’m always thrilled with the quality of both the products and the service. From Saltwater Sandals (I’m up to three pairs!) to Hamilton blankets, Red Cap Cards, Baggu bags, cute earrings, knitwear, and umbrellas — everything is consistently excellent. Highly recommend this gem of a shop!
I’ve been a loyal customer of Girl on the Wing since the day it opened, and it continues to be one of Hamilton’s absolute gems. The shop is meticulously and thoughtfully curated—so much so that I always need to do multiple rounds just to take everything in because every single item catches my eye. Their customer service is truly second to none. Over the years, they’ve pushed through everything: the pandemic (hand-delivering items right to my home!), postal strikes, recessions—you name it. Through it all, their service, care, and community spirit have never wavered. Even though I do most of my shopping online these days, I still make a point to visit the store in person because the vibes are just that divine. And their new throwback sticker collection—the most 90s nostalgic burst of sticker joy—really is the icing on top of the perfect shopping experience. Girl on the Wing is a small business that puts heart into absolutely everything—and it shows. Highly, highly recommend.
Truly one of my favourite stores in Hamilton. I’ve been shopping here since they opened in their original spot and will continue to until they (hopefully NEVER) close their doors. The intention and care that is put into the curation of goods is beautiful and admirable. I know they will always have something cute and original to grab for someone I love, and myself.

The loveliest shop! Have been shopping at girl on the wing for several years now and have always been delighted whether it be to get some new jeans or gifts for my family and pals (okay sometimes a gift for myself.) The shop staff are always happy to answer questions and are incredibly kind. If you are looking to shop local this holiday season and need something pretty and whimisical you should check them out!
