I have to say the star of the show was the burrata with bread (10/10),go the Giulia Caesar (8/10), Half Nelson pizza (9/10) & The Eltton (6.5/10). Tiramisu has this rich tasting moose chocolate on top (9/10) Ordered their Shirley Temple, it’s so good in the beginning , but it loses its flavour half way through the glass. Staff were friendly and everything was on point. Def recommend and will be back⭐️
Really amazing atmosphere. Low lighting, very classy and rustic. The place does have a chlorine pool smell. Beverage sizes seem pretty small and are also pretty expensive. The pizza is delicious; I got the Sweet Tony pizza and it AMAZING. Highly recommend trying it!
Came here for the first time and honestly only have great things to say! The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We ordered the pasta of the day and two pizzas — the Ezzo and the Clarice — and both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. We finished with the tiramisu, and even my boyfriend (who doesn’t usually like tiramisu) loved it! The ambiance was warm, cozy, and comfortable — great lighting and not too loud, so we could actually talk without shouting. Can’t wait to come back — highly recommend!!!
Visited midweek without a reservation and was seated quickly. Staff were warm and welcoming. We tried The Beekeeper mocktail, which was refreshing with a subtle twist, not too overpowering and complimented the food. For mains, we had the Benjamin Button and the Spicy Clarice pizzas. Both tasted good but leaned on the drier side and didn’t feel indulgent. The lemon and berries cake was pleasant, sweet and fresh. The cozy romantic atmosphere and thoughtful touches like a baby changing table in the bathroom made the visit enjoyable overall, though the food felt more good than great.
We visited Giulia on Elgin Street this past sunny Sunday and sat outside—perfect weather, perfect vibe. The starters were outstanding: hot, crispy sourdough with fragrant olive oil and rich cheese that hit all the right notes. We shared two of their rustic pizzas (called pies on the menu), and both were excellent. The crust was crisp, flavorful, and beautifully done. Dessert was the surprise star—finished with a drizzle of olive oil that made it absolutely divine. A must-visit for anyone craving elevated Italian fare in Ottawa.
