Oh my stars one of the best experiences I’ve ever had great and amazing outstanding staff right when I walked in I was looking for a cart for my little guy who Is special needs And two older gals went out of their way to get me a cart for him. They were so cute and so sweet then I went to go get a Christmas tree. Every employee that I bumped into was just smiles The gentleman who helped me with the tree, cut the Inch off of it and hand it to my little guy to play with offered to help me take it to my vehicle bumped into a total sweetheart, who is sweeping up the needles that were on the ground from the trees, so friendly, very welcoming and had a staff member help hold the door open for myself in my little guy all the cashiers all smiles a younger man gave my little guy a candy cane, and they were all giggling and having so much fun. You can tell these staff members love their work One of the most happiest places to go to if you have questions they’re gonna answer it. They are going to go far and beyond to help you and make sure that you are satisfied just I am so stunned on how incredible these people are and if management sees this or the owner or whomever, please tell your staff they did such an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back. My little guy was just smiles. Fantastic team and my tree smells beautiful. It’s gorgeous. It’s full and lush. Great quality great staff.

We purchased our Christmas trees from another garden centre since we moved to the city. We weren't really satisfied so we gave a chance to Golden Acre and we found the perfect tree for reasonable price. Healthy, thick, groomed, and beautiful. It's really a pleasure to sit next to and getting prepared for Christmas.

I’ve been to Golden Acres Home & Garden many times over the past 2 years. They showcase fantastic patio furniture, accessories, plants, trees and seasonal items. Always helpful and knowledgeable about care and maintenance of their plants. Prices are on the high side but quality is also excellent! They can’t be expected to carry everything…but I hoped my list could be checked off. We picked up an artificial tree, some miscellaneous sale items (I want to craft a wreath I have in my mind ).

I purchased two 10-gallon trees from Golden Acres, who referred me to Jean Mathieu Daoust at Let It Grow for planting. I had just undergone wrist surgery (22 stitches) and was unable to do the planting myself, so I relied on their recommended service. Golden Acres had advised me that proper planting for a 10-gallon tree requires digging a hole two to three times wider than the root ball and equal in depth, creating a shallow, wide hole to encourage healthy root growth. I paid $125 per tree for this service. Golden told me Jean would call to arrange a time, and in the meantime I placed flags on my lawn to mark the planting sites, along with a clear sign indicating there were underground irrigation lines so they would shovel carefully. On September 30th, I received a call from Jean — not to arrange planting, but to inform me that the trees had already been planted and that he had severed an irrigation line. He immediately told me he was not accountable for the damage and that I would need to hire a technician to repair it. This lack of accountability and empathy was extremely disappointing. For the record: Jean did not call me in advance to arrange a planting time. He severed an irrigation line despite the clear signage and refused to repair it. The holes dug for the trees were undersized (see photo for scale). Overall, I am very disappointed with the service, the damage caused, and the dismissive response to a clear mistake. I hope this review helps future customers be cautious when considering Let It Grow for planting services.

This is simply the largest gardening market I have ever seen. It has two super large outdoor greenhouses. The interior space is also very large. There are all kinds of outdoor tables and chairs, rocking chairs, clothes and all kinds of plants. There are also many tropical plants here, whether they are rare or common plants, you can find them here. And it is often crowded here. It is not like an ordinary gardening center but more like a shopping mall! The customer service is also very good. We bought a tree here and the service staff was very enthusiastic. And I want to say that when you buy a tree, you will have a very affordable warranty (free for the first year, $25 for five years)! The price here is not very expensive among gardening centers (although it is difficult to find a cheap gardening center, most gardening centers are expensive!). In short, I found another great gardening center!
