Wowowowowow! This may be one of the best manicures I’ve ever had. If I lived here this would be my go to spot. Walked in and they were booked but able to squeeze me in with Angel who was AMAZING! 🤩 Super sweet and an absolute artist. Plus I don’t think I’ve ever had my my dip soaked off this fast. 100000/10 would recommend.
I’m going to give 2 stars because the lady that did my pedicure did a phenomenal job. But my experience took a turn for the worst when they gave me a nail tech that is clearly new. Too new to be playing with people nails & just to sit in the chair is $70. I assumed for a base rate of $70 I would have no issues with being serviced. First he tried to build my acrylic nail which I did not ask for (that was the first red flag that he was clearly practicing) I asked him for tips he insisted I let him build so I’m like ok. The first nail was decent the 2nd nail was a complete mess so I ask him to take it off & do tips he’s STILL insisting on building it. So now I get him to do tips & he’s gluing them on my nails any kind of way. I wanted to scream!!!!! Because I’d already been here almost 3 hours & only had pedicure. I can’t speak for all the techs but the young kid with the curly too that’s died brown… I do not recommend. I discreetly asked the front desk lady was he knew & instead of saying yes or no, she asked me was there a problem… OBVIOUSLY because I wouldn’t be asking this question. Now my fingers are sticky and covered in glues and acrylic. Horrible experience
Whether you are a local or from out of town, if you need your nails done right, THIS is the spot. Period. They took care of me and my whole family on a walk-in Good vibes + Good Atmosphere + TIARA, the Nail Tech; and you have the recipe for a very relaxing Saturday Afternoon. Oh I didn’t mention TIARA?? Prime example of Black EXCELLENCE 👑 This Queen right here had me feeling like KING of New Orleans the way she took care of my Manicure + Pedicure. Truly one of the Crown Jewels of GOLDEN FILE Nails & Spa. Icing on the Cake? I was served the probably the most soothing cup of warm Green Tea that I ever had in my Life during my treatment. 20 stars! 🌟
I recently visited Golden File Nail and Spa at their downtown location in New Orleans, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Tony did an amazing job on my hard gel refill—he was meticulous and really took the time to ensure everything was perfect. The atmosphere in the salon is incredibly nice; it’s warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. What stood out the most was how friendly everyone was. I truly felt welcome from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend Golden File Nail and Spa, especially if you’re looking for excellent service and a lovely environment. I can’t wait to return!
I went to New Orleans without a pedicure (bad decision but I forgot about my toes) and decided to walk in on a 1.5 break. Lucky for me, the very nice man at the register squeezed me in. I was skeptical about visiting a nail salon purely off a Goggle review but my toes were hideous so I took a chance. Glad I did. This place is cute, has a great staff, offered one of the best pedicures (no lie) I have ever had in my life! Brandon (believe that was his name) had THE BEST service and my technician (Peter, I believe) was a genius. Took great care of my feet and treated my toes like gold. Even gave me some type of wax/moisturizer treatment that still has my feet feeling soft. I highly recommend this place.
