I cannot speak highly enough of Shannon (hair) and Maggie (makeup). I was going through chemo when I got engaged and lost my hair. I came to Shannon saying I wasn’t really sure what all would be possible or not for my big day given the circumstances. I kept her up to date on how my hair was growing and the length and she assured me she would have me picture-ready for the day. They were such supports for me before even meeting. At my hair trial, Shannon took her time talking through my vision with extensions of my own. Because I hadn’t seen my hair down/long in so long, I opted for a 2nd trial to try out a new look. I cannot stress enough how much the 2nd trial was not a reflection of Shannon’s work, rather me being an indecisive bride! I had my makeup trial on my bridal shower day and it was the perfect start to the day- Maggie is a ray of calm sunshine. Being pampered by her is truly a treat! I had never looked so beautiful by the time she was done and I couldn’t wait for the wedding day look. Both Shannon and Maggie arrived promptly on my wedding day and ready to get started. They quickly and efficiently worked through my bridal party, glamming each one up seemingly better than the next- I don’t know how they did it, everyone was flawless. Their calm presence kept me at ease and they made such natural conversation with every person they worked on. My own hair was the hair of my dreams and what I had always pictured when getting married. When it came time for me to see my makeup, it was hard not to cry. It was perfection. Maggie had taken all of my minor tweaks and changes and elevated them so I looked my absolute best. I didn’t look like a former cancer patient..I looked like me, a bride, on her wedding day which is all that I had prayed for. I cannot recommend this team enough- they are so talented at what they do and bring such a calming presence to the day. Also, our hair held up so well even with pictures outside in the snow- our curls didn’t fall and I made my husband come into the hotel bathroom with me to marvel at how my makeup hadn’t budged before I washed it off at the end of the night. We love you Shannon and Maggie!
I highly, highly recommend hiring Goode Beauty for your big day! Shannon, Sidney, Jenny, and Rebekah did an incredible job with hair and makeup for my large bridal party. We were ahead of schedule and had zero stress regarding the timeline that morning. They are all very sweet and professional - everyone had a great time chatting and hanging out together while getting ready. I was so happy with both my hair and makeup. I could not have asked for more! Wish we could go back and relive the day over and over
Jessica from the Goode Beauty Team did incredible work on our wedding day!! I had myself and 5 bridesmaids (as well as 2 mothers!) getting their hair done and Jessica and her assistant were on it! Her talent, calm presence, and attention to detail helped me feel confident, beautiful, and completely at ease throughout the day! From the early morning prep to the final touch-ups, she brought such warmth and laughter to the experience, as well as her professionalism and caring comments. I truly felt like the best version of myself because of the care and skill she brought to every moment for our gorgeous hair. She finished hair early, had time to check everyones hair for touch-ups, and made my entire bridal party look beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
I cannot recommend Shannon and Goode Beauty enough. I hired her after my wedding planner highly recommended her and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Shannon absolutely knocked my hair out of the park. The best part is it stayed perfect all night. She also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and moms. I still get compliments on their hair! I even used her for my rehearsal dinner and she killed that style as well. On top of her expertise, she constantly shows up for you. She had an emergency surgery the week prior to my wedding and she STILL showed up happy and cheery. She is one of the top vendors in the Columbus area. If you hire her you won’t regret it.
Shannon Goode was THE BEST hairstylist! She made me feel so at ease on and even before the big day. We did two hair trials and she was SO open to my feedback/what I preferred and how I wanted to look. She jumped right in with the hairstyle I had in mind and made my dreams come to life. She also had the sweetest personality and made me feel so calm the day of. I 100% recommend Shannon Goode!
