I bought a ball gown from Amazon, and intentionally ordered a size larger to ensure it would fit... It arrived on time and I didn't bother to try it on until less than 48 hours from my event. When I tried it on, it did not fit. I was panicked! The next morning, I Googled "Emergency Tailors near me". Gorgeous K came up in my search results. I spoke with Zackaria (the owner) at 9:30 am and dropped my gown off at 11:00 am that same morning. I picked up the finished / altered dress later that day around 4 pm. IT WAS PERFECT! Gorgeous KC made my dreams came true! I bought a suit online that needed a little bit of love to fit just right. The first place I took it said that it was too complicated a job and they couldn’t do it. I took it to Gorgeous KC and they made my suit perfect. They made my internet purchase look like a custom piece and it fits like a dream.

So glad I found this place. The owner is absolutely amazing and does outstanding work. I bought my son some Essentials merch for Christmas and quickly realized there are no returns or exchanges, and the fit was extremely baggy. Thankfully, we found this shop through great reviews, and now I am happy to add another one. She tapered the sides and arms of the hoodies to keep the relaxed look while making them fit perfectly. On the pants, she thinned and tapered the legs so they no longer looked like extreme flares. The results were incredible. The pricing is very reasonable, the quality of work is exceptional, and the turnaround time was fantastic. We dropped everything off on Monday and it was ready for pickup by Friday. She works on all types of clothing, not just dress wear. Stop looking and go here. She will take excellent care of you.

I do a lot of on-line shopping and the one benefit I find is that I can have the bigger sizes tailored to my exact specifications. My one problem since moving downtown has been finding a reputable seamstress who can bring my vision to life. After doing some extensive research I happen to come across Zackaria @ GKCO. After explaining my plight to the young lady…. She assured me that the alterations needed for my Lacoste track pants wouldn’t be an issue. I was pleasantly after being turned down by several other similar shops that refused to assist me seeing that my garment was NOT bridal related. After a pleasant conversation regarding my ideas and being extensively measured…. Zackaria brought my vision to fruition with her masterful skills as a seamstress, her willingness to appease her clients and her charming personality. Needless to say I am back on-line shopping for the larger sizes so that this young lady may bring those clothes to life. Thank you GKCO…. TH.

Z and her crew transformed my original wedding gown from 10 years ago into a masterpiece for my vow renewal. I came in without a strong vision of what I desired, but Z took some ideas I had along with her creative design and made it into perfection! I loved the finished design and it was very complimenting. My husband was in awe and many of my guests complimented the dress re-do. Thanks Z of Gorgeous K Co!
