We have been coming here for over 2 years now. The instructors are friendly & welcoming. The “bully proof” class for kids helped my kids build confidence & a skill. If your looking for a place that is good for kids & adults this is definitely it!

I was looking for a jiu jitsu school for my son (6) and came across Gracie jiu jitsu Mesa. We got a trial class and my son fell in love with the classes and we enrolled him. The community this school has is amazing, after a week, I enrolled myself in the adults class and my son and I have been attending for over a year now. We have nothing but great things to say about the school, the instructors are truly amazing and share so much knowledge.

As a late 40s newcomer to BJJ, I couldn’t have picked a better gym. All of the instructors I’ve had—Jimi, Larry, and Lasando—have been fantastic. Upper belts are always willing to support, provide tips, and teach technique. It is a great, supportive atmosphere. My only regret is that my schedule doesn’t allow me to take more classes. I can’t recommend enough. The gym is clean, and everyone I’ve worked with is friendly and concerned about safety. My daughter also attend Women Empowered classes, and she thoroughly enjoys them. She is growing in confidence and describes her instructor and classmates as family.

My son absolutely loves his classes at Gracie Jiu Jitsu in Mesa! Every week he looks forward to going and always comes out with a huge smile, excited to show what he’s learned. The instructors are incredibly patient, positive, and make the environment welcoming for kids of all skill levels. We took advantage of their 10-day free trial, which was a huge help in making the decision to sign up. It gave us the chance to see how well the program fit our family without any pressure. After just a couple of classes, we knew this was the right place for him. Highly recommend to any parents considering martial arts for their child!

My Daughter Jaylah Started October 30th of last year I can see that Professor Lusando truly loves his students you can see his passion for this sport. He takes time to teach all of the kids proper techniques in life lessons making it fun at the same time. I trust him and his staff completely. Gracie jiu-Jitsu is so welcoming! ❤️ I highly recommend you to bring your kids here. 🙂
