Been coming here 12+ years since getting our first pup, the staff is so kind and thorough, every vet is so personable and lovely. They are quick to answer questions remotely, return calls, and check up on your pets after emergencies (or just panicky pet-parent moments). Love them. HIGHLY recommend.

I took my dog here for the first time for a routine checkup/vaccinations and it was a great experience. My dog is a rescue and can be a bit shy/uncertain of new places and I was shocked when she accepted treats from both the vet and vet assistant. That never happens! They were both so patient with her, went at her pace, and made me feel comfortable that they clearly love animals and know what they’re doing. Thank you!

I've been going here for over 10 years, even though I've moved and heard there's another great vet in my new neighborhood. Every single visit here has been very helpful, informative, and it's obvious that everyone here genuinely loves being around animals. The providers here make thorough care recommendations without ever seeming pushy. Actually, they usually come across as very cost conscious and transparent. The technicians are great at anticipating what kind of diagnostics the vet might recommend and sometimes bring up an estimate for you just in case. For pricier treatments or diagnostics, they've also automatically brought up different 'tiers' of estimates (for example, the bare minimum treatment for current symptoms vs. a targeted blood panel that'll catch the suspected diagnosis vs. a comprehensive blood panel for the extra cautious). They always present these options realistically without any salesmanship and I've never had them recommend an in-person followup visit that didn't feel necessary. Care here is always delivered with kindness and sensitivity. My old cat was a real sweetheart but a huge fighter at the vet. They never showed any frustration and still genuinely seemed to love her. When it was her time to be put to sleep, there were a couple of providers who we'd been seeing for several years who personally gave their condolences. I wasn't able to schedule an in-home euthanasia because of the timeframe we needed, but the experience in the clinic was actually so perfect that I'd easily choose an in-clinic visit if I needed the same service in the future.

My cats and dog go to Grand Avenue Vet and we all love it! Bean the dog especially loves the cheese he gets during shots! So much attention to making sure they are having a nice and fearless visit and that we get the right care. Everyone is super knowledgeable and straightforward about all the care.

Grand Avenue Veterinary Center is an absolute gem! As the proud owner of two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Gus and Bruce, I can wholeheartedly say that their care is exceptional. From routine check-ups (over the past 5 years) to a recent emergency surgery for Bruce, the team at Grand Avenue has been nothing short of phenomenal. They are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely care about the well-being of my furry family members. During Bruce's emergency, they were upfront, honest, and patiently guided me through the process of finding the best emergency surgical hospital. Their follow-up care has been outstanding. What truly sets Grand Avenue apart is that my dogs love going to the vet! They wag their tails and greet the staff with enthusiasm, each and every time. That speaks volumes about the positive and gentle environment that Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic has created. I wouldn't trust Gus and Bruce with anyone else! Highly, highly recommend! PS. One of my favorite aspects about Grand Avenue Veterinary Center is that all team members kneel down to greet and examine my large dogs.
