Grasby Art Studio in Calgary bietet eine warme, inspirierende Umgebung für Künstlerinnen und Künstler aller Erfahrungsstufen, um ihre Kreativität zu erforschen. Mit flexiblen Drop-in-Pässen und individueller Anleitung von Teresa können Teilnehmende ihre eigenen Projekte, Medien und ihr Tempo in Kursen auswählen, die Lernen und Selbstvertrauen fördern. Das Studio verfügt über eine Garten-Terrasse und eine große Auswahl an Materialien, was es zu einem perfekten Ort für Workshops, Einzelstunden und gemeinschaftliche Kunsterlebnisse macht.

I love this studio for so many reasons. Truly the freestyle is the selling feature for my daughter. Choosing her own project, going at her own pace, guided by the instructors. I can see how much she’s learned. I’m feeling inspired myself, once school starts up in September I’m going to by an hourly membership to the studio so I can learn a new skill and create! I love that you can flow between the patio and the garden studio. It’s a space that makes you feel free and curious! Also, I’m instructors are so kind, I love how much they encourage and help! I couldn’t be happier to invest this way in their minds and look forward to investing in some me time here!

For anyone who may be intimidated by the idea of attending a drawing class, don’t fear as Grasby is the best place to go for lessons. Since starting classes, I have been finding myself looking forward to them each weekend. They are the highlight of my week. I feel comfortable sharing my drawings with others and receiving feedback and it is a safe and encouraging place to learn and develop your art skills. There have been many “aha!” moments as they teach me useful techniques and strategies to further improve my drawings. You can sign up for each class individually which is very useful. There is always enough seating for everyone with a perfect view for instructions. And there are so many different supplies you can purchase! From paint to markers to canvases, anything you need is here. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to give the drawing classes a try. If you’re unsure, give it a try, I can almost guarantee you’ll feel right at home.

I have been going to Grasby for a few months and absolutely love it. Each time I have come away with pieces that I have been proud to display and gift. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and Teresa is absolutely phenomenal in her instructions. It was apparent from the very first class that it was essential to her that we were set up for success.

I've been taking art classes for only a few months at this studio (with very little prior experience in painting) and am thrilled with what I've been able to create with Teresa's guidance. The elephant shown below was my first art piece and the paintings of the clouds and waterfall were created at her workshops. None of this would have possible without Teresa's help. I also really enjoy the flexiblility of the drop in passes so I can choose when and for how long I attend class. For studio hour classes, Teresa allows me to choose the medium and reference that I use for my project. Would highly recommend.
