BEST GUITAR CENTER EVER! I've been to other guitar centers close by but this one is amazing not just for there selection of guitars but also for their service. Customer service was and is phenomenal from Christian and Kyle for helping me with the purchase of my new guitar, these are people who put customers first. This made my day and will be a core memory as similar to when I got my first guitar! Thank you very much!!!
This is the best Guitar Center that I have ever been to, in the state. I have purchased tons of equipment from various Guitar Centers for the past two decades and this is my favorite location. I recently went to a different location to buy a guitar and had to return it, I called this store and they picked up the phone right away, Max answered my question over the phone and I came in to the store and the customer service was exceptional. They also gave me tips for future purchases. I recommend this location to any other local producers and musicians.
Bought 2 v2408 8 in h Harbinger PA speakers. 1 was bad cracking sound. I was told that the GC in Ft Worth has 3. I call Ft Worth store they physically eye the pa speaker. I take my ID my GC receipt and head to the store to exchange the speaker. I get to the store. Very nice associates. The problem was there system. Its old and outdated. They had to call the store I bought it from to talk to a manager before they could do the exchange. So I asked whats going on, once again the GC associate let me know that the system is not good. When I exchange any item at a chain store you can always take it back with ID & receipt. I do. Took over 40 minutes due to the manager at the other store was at lunch. So the customer who has done everything correct for a return to GC has to wait for the manager from original store to get back from lunch to go into the dinosaur system for a simple return process. MESSY MESSY. All the GC associates get 10's for great attitudes & excellent knowledge of products. GC Corporate gets 0. Wow! Give your wonderfully trained store associates Managers and Associates the tools to help there customers with smooth transactions. There is more. Using Store credit at another GC took over an hour. Bought a dj controller case. When I got home and opened it all the corners & the velcro was off (See pics below) ANOTHER MESS. Im done. I now get all my DJ gear from Sweet Water or zZsounds or Amazon. Been with GC for over 20 years. Im done. Great Store location people. System ancient. Associates get 10's Bravo. GC Corp gets 0
I’m a fan of Guitar Center. All of my drum gear has been purchased at this store. Today in Farmers Branch (11/21) the guy from the drum department (Ian) was extremely rude. He tapped me on the back and said, “Are you going to buy this drum kit?” I told him I had never tried it before — I was playing with headphones. He said, “You’ve been playing for a long time.” Ok… I simply stopped playing and went to try out the Meinl cymbal set, and he came over to yell at me saying that people were working. I asked him what was wrong with him and he walked off like he was going to get someone. That was a lie. I asked for his name and went to file a complaint with the manager. If you’re sensitive to noise, don’t work in a music store — especially not in the drum department. This is the first time I’ve ever been treated so badly and discriminated against at Guitar Center.
