Decent enough Gym to train in, has the kit you need but my Lord what a dump, the worst changing rooms and spa area Ive ever encountered, showers are mostly not working or cold, stem room out of commission and sauna cracked floor and exposed screw heads that were red hot Ok for a one off training session whilst working in belfast but i wont be going back, i felt dirty after being in the "spa" Could be phenomenal with a bit of TLC but as it is its a disgrace.
I am surprised that there isn't more reviews pointing this out. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. However one big thing letting this gym down is the hygiene and Cleanliness of the place. The equipment, changing rooms, cubicles, toilets, showers, and especially the sauna and steam are extremely unsanitary. Some of the equipment is also worn and should be updated/replaced. The Machines in particular look like they haven't been cleaned in months. The floors of the steam and sauna are especially dirty and smell as if they are not cleaned on a regular basis (Ie of old sweat) and the maintenance of the steam room isn't great at all and is often out of order. Due to the large number of individuals who visit this gym and the fact that there are many viruses that go around this time of the year you would think that this would be more of a priority. They should also be providing blue roll and disinfectant spray/disinfectant wipes so that people using the gym can clean equipment. This would also likely help with the cleanliness of the gym as currently it doesn't look like the equipment is ever cleaned. This is a shame as the gym is in a great location and the has the potential to be great.
This “gym” is not fit for purpose. Saturday morning @09.00 went to use the sauna and steam room had to walk straight back out! Disgusting! Floors are disgusting at 09.00 in the morning! Gym was empty! No excuses! Steam room out of order lol, again disgustingly dirty, tiles broken! Cold shower outside sauna had been broke for donkeys and it had scum around the drain 🤢 again no excuses at 09.00am. Visible hairs on seats of sauna! Hole in the sauna floor lol. Whoever goes down it, take them to the cleaners! No maintenance done whatsoever! Front desk at reception has cupboard doors hanging off, under the sink there a ton of dirty wet blue roll. The gym needs closed down or a major refurb. It’s embarrassing. The owners need to hit a render! Avoid at all costs!
Went today on a day pass and not one thing I can complain about. Staff at front of house were really friendly and helpful. Layout of the gym and changing rooms were great and kept super clean. Had a great session and will definitely be back!
Great gym! Amazing staff. Super accommodating. I was over there for a few months working, sorted me out and all my colleagues. Highly recommended!
