It was my first time going to Gypsy Rose Salon and it was a great experience. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. I’m very particular with my hair but the stylist made it super easy and listened amazingly to what I was asking for. I highly recommend this Salon! You won’t regret it! ☺️

I saw the reviews for Gypsy Rose and decided to stop in to ask to be added to a waitlist as I was only in the area for a week or so and have been dying for a good cut for my curly hair. I’ve been living abroad and haven’t been able to find someone there yet who knows how to cut curly hair well. The person I spoke with when I stopped in was welcoming and friendly, but also honest and realistic about availability which I appreciated. Andrea managed to squeeze me into her schedule and I cannot be happier! She’s super friendly, down to earth, knowledgeable and just a wonderful person to chat with. She started with a dry cut, then washed and finished shaping before styling. This cut is exactly what I wanted and well-priced. If I was staying in the area she’d definitely be my new go-to. Highly recommend!

I saw Andrea’s beautiful work on a San Jose based colleague of mine. This colleague messaged Andrea and I was able to see her as soon as possible even though I arrived less than one hour before closing. Andrea was sweet, warm, and accommodating. She was very savvy and perceptive in helping me change up my hair while still maintaining my style. I really love my new haircut. I’d like to add that I’m a former New Yorker who’s had her cut and styled by hairdressers whose work has appeared in prestigious editorials (think Elle, V, etc.). Andrea’s work was on par, if not better than some of these stylists and for a fraction of the cost as well. If you live or are visiting in the SJ area, give Andrea or the other lovely stylists a visit. Andrea will definitely become my goto when I’m in the area.

Ich kann diesen Ort gar nicht oft genug empfehlen! Sie sind fantastisch. Berta hat meine Farbe aus einer schlechten Heimfärbung gerettet, als ich vor fast zwei Jahren nach CA gezogen bin, und sie sieht seitdem beim Herauswachsen fantastisch aus. In der Zwischenzeit bekomme ich hier konstant großartige Haarschnitte, und ich habe meinen Mann davon überzeugt, Amy's Handwerk für seine eigenen Haarschnitte zu nutzen. Die Preise sind vernünftig, die Stimmung ist großartig und die Qualität ist die beste – und das sage ich als ehemalige Stammkundin in High-End-Salons in NYC und Boston.
