Waitress Julia was really sweet and attentive. Restaurant is beautiful and romantic. I think it’s not super busy because it’s kind of hidden from the main view from street. Sushi was so fresh and amazing and so were drinks. They have complimentary Valet. HH was definitely worth it.
Quite a marvelous dining experience. Service was terrific, especially the bartendress Kylie, very accommodative & professional. Owner lady was wonderful to give us free drinks. Chef Leo(from NY) was one of the best sushi chefs I've met in Houston. Sashimi was fresh & tasty, except the nigiri portions in our omakase were way TOO tiny...so tiny that we couldn't even taste the fishes. Hope they could be bigger sizes next time so we can have better taste of the fishes, giant clam, sea urchin, etc.
If you’re searching for the best omakase experience in Houston, look no further. The pace, quantity, and quality here are simply unsurpassed. Every course is beautifully balanced — generous without being overwhelming — and executed with precision and artistry. Chef Leo is fully present throughout the meal, personally directing the experience and engaging with guests in a way that makes the evening both intimate and unforgettable. His attention to detail and mastery of flavor are evident in every bite. The service is exceptional: attentive, well-informed, and genuinely personable. The staff clearly love what they do, and it shows in the warmth and professionalism they bring to each interaction. This is not just a meal — it’s an experience. Not to be missed.
From start to finish, everything about our meal here was exceptional. The omakase was perfectly curated — each course showcased incredible balance, creativity, and technique. The fish was unbelievably fresh, practically melting in your mouth, and every bite highlighted how skillfully the chefs use certain ingredients to accent and elevate each dish without overpowering the natural flavors. The service was equally impressive — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can really feel the care and precision that goes into every detail, from presentation to pacing. Hachi easily became one of my favorite dining experiences. If you’re looking for a top-tier omakase that combines artistry, freshness, and flawless service, this is the place!!
10/10 RECOMMEND! The atmosphere was great! Music wasn’t too loud, it was really dimly lit but I asked for another table light which they happily brought one over. The service was incredible! Kylie was extremely knowledgeable both about each dish and she’s a bartender so she really knew her stuff. She was attentive and so thoughtful, she really made the experience! I ate with my boyfriend and my father and we did omakase and everyone really enjoyed it. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. In my opinion, this place was better than Uchi and Nobu because of the extravagant fish and seafood that you won’t get at most places. We loved all the items from Hokkaido and the drinks were incredible! I was a big fan of the lavender gin but their lychee martini was also one of the best I’ve ever had.
