Emma is the best! I have very fine, thin hair and she has worked wonders with it. She is such a joy to work with and I highly recommend her, Jeremy or Kim if you are looking for a great crew of people to take care of your hair!
I could, and should, have written about 30 glowing reviews after visiting this salon! Frontal fibrosing alopecia has been my companion for over 14 years. By the time we moved to Alabama 3 years ago, it was no longer possible to hide the regression. Kim and Emma’s solution was a topper. That worked pretty well, but the BEST thing was yet to come. When they saw a demonstration of a special piece that could be bonded in just the front and bang areas, they knew it was for me. BEST THING EVER!!! For over a year now, I have enjoyed full natural looking hair! I feel and look like me again! But aside from that glorious solution, I need to rave over the whole experience of going to this salon. It is like a warm hug with best friends every time I go. They both truly care about their clients’ hair struggles and so does new stylist Jeremy. Compassion, laughter, comforting decor, professionalism, discretion, and whatever else you might need at time of visit is there in abundance!! For the past 6 months, Emma has provided the bonding process for me start to finish. She is relaxed and fun, but spot-on for getting it right every time. I travel 2 hours about every 5 weeks to visit Hair by Kim and these dear friends - book a visit and you will be eternally grateful and thankful! LOVE LOVE LOVE every thing about it! ❤️❤️❤️
I saw Kim 2 years ago with thinning hair that would not grow. She suggested extensions as a way to protect the hair I had, and thus making it healthier and stronger. I was soooo nervous, but decided to take the plunge. Honestly, Having extensions has been life changing!! The second picture is my hair today before my extensions were put back in. Honestly, the best thing I've ever done for my hair. And Kim and Emma are the sweetest!!!
Hair by Kim is like a dream come true for everyone with thin and/or thinning hair! Since it’s a private salon, you will be the only client there during your appt, which was amazing! Kim is so knowledgeable about all the different options for you ( wigs, toppers, extensions, etc.)I never felt like I was being rushed to make a choice on anything. I would recommend this place in a heart beat for anyone dealing with hair loss!!❤️

She can offer Wigs, Toppers and Hair Extensions - what ever you need to get you feeling like you again. The best in Alternative Hair in Alabama for sure.
