I cannot say enough great things about Hairs 2 The Bride! I hired them for wedding hair and makeup for myself (the bride), 6 adults, and hair for 2 flower girls, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Our two stylists, Lisa and Eva, were professional, incredibly talented, and honestly just so fun to be around on the morning of my wedding. They were great communicators, very fast to respond during planning, and super accommodating with any changes or requests along the way. They even created a detailed schedule that worked perfectly with our wedding planners’ timeline. On the day of the wedding, they arrived right on time and kept everything running smoothly. Even with one of our flower girls showing up late to her hair appointment, they still managed to get everyone done on time without stress. Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and our hair and makeup truly lasted all day and night (over 14 hours!). My bridal HAMU trial was also amazing. Lisa brought my Pinterest inspiration to life, and I felt so pretty. She even told me exactly which lipstick they used so I could buy it for touch-ups on the wedding day, which I really appreciated. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the Chicagoland area, and the quality of service was outstanding. Overall, Hairs 2 The Bride was wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a talented, reliable, and fun HAMU team.
Shoutout to my MUA Kristin and hairstylist Liz for my big day. These girls treated me and my bride tribe with grace and professionalism. I looked stunning and so did the moms and my maids. It's a professional business and they brought the hype. After a trial where I didn't like my look, they made sure to work with me and made me the most beautiful bride without judgement. I also commend the management team for communicating with me and perfecting the day of schedule. I'd recommend this to any NW burb bride
Our experience with Hairs 2 The Bride was amazing! Lisa and Sue were so kind and fun to work with. I had a few things I wanted to change after my trial, and Lisa absolutely nailed it. I felt so beautiful and looked exactly how I imagined. My hair and makeup looked perfect all day. Lisa and Sue were able to finish ahead of schedule and squeeze in my sister's stepdaughter so she could be included, too. I highly recommend booking Hairs 2 the Bride for your wedding!
We’re from New Jersey, and this was our first time booking a hair and makeup team in Illinois — and wow, what an amazing experience! We initially booked Hairs2theBride for one event just for hair, but they were so good that we ended up booking them for our second event as well. We had to change the time for the second event at the last minute, and Mike was so accommodating — he even offered to bring in a third stylist to make sure we were ready on time. That level of flexibility and professionalism was such a relief, especially being from out of state. Hayley was amazing to work with. She completely exceeded our expectations — the hairstyles came out even better than the inspiration photos! She was kind, personable, and funny, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Eva did a fantastic job with makeup. Her airbrush foundation was flawless and lasted all night. For our second event, Chrissy did our makeup and absolutely killed it — the eyeshadow especially was beautifully blended and truly to die for. Honestly, the hair and makeup were even better than some of the artists I’ve worked with in NYC for other weddings! Overall, we were so impressed with the entire team. The prices were affordable, everyone was professional, and they went above and beyond to make everything perfect. It genuinely felt like getting ready with family — warm, fun, and effortless. For our first Illinois experience, Hairs2theBride set the bar incredibly high. We truly hope we get to work with them again in the future!
Hairs 2 the Bride was not only exceptionally talented, but excellent with their communication and energy. I was so happy to have gone with H2B after having struggled in previous trials with other artists, but Haley and Sandy were SO kind and patient with me, even on the day of the wedding when I requested changes. I will recommend them to everyone I know, and hope to cross paths with them again in the future! Book with H2B, and rest easy knowing your day will be a breeze and you will look STUNNING. Oh yeah, not to mention, I sweat.... a LOT. This makeup stayed place until the end of the night, and the skin care prep that Haley did on me left my skin feeling so soft even the next day.
