I went in there, and the staff were like bulldogs. As soon as I walked in the door, a lady read me with a very. Straightforward statement and it wasn’t hello. Welcome in. Second staff member went over to see what I was doing asked if I needed help and then quickly walked away to go get her two other coworkers to bully me out of the store
This is not close to me but every time I go I always find gems for my small book collection. My intentions are always just to go and look, but I always find something that I can't pass up. The staff there are so friendly and down the Earth and they even check on you. When you're looking around and roaming, the actual store not only has books but it has games, Manga, anime, comics and more. I found 3 books with sprayed edges that were theirbhalf price, and I had to grab them. I also found a Harry Potter board game for $14.99 that I've never seen before brand new the price on it. I had to get it. There is no way I couldn't pick it up for my collection. I'm gonna leave the pictures here, but I don't go often cause its to far away. But when I do I always find gems, if you have a Half price bookstore anywhere near you, from time to time drop in, you'll find something that you weren't expecting to find at an amazing price.
There are so many good quality books! By far the best used book store I've ever been to! We easily picked out $250-$200 worth of books if we had gotten new books and walked out spending $56.
The return price on the books is very low. However the people that work there seem to be very cheerful and enjoy what they do. They made my experience very nice, but considering I brought in over 30 bucks and got only 5 to $7 not very happy with that.
Such a hidden gem! As an avid reader and chronic book buyer, I love being able to find books at a lower price! Especially the book of the month finds
