We are incredibly grateful for Samantha and the care she provides to our girls, Luna and Kali. We’ve been leaving them with her every time we go out of town for nearly two years now, and it’s such a comfort knowing they’re in such loving hands. Samantha treats our girls like they’re her own, and we can’t thank her enough for always taking such great care of them. Every time she comes to pick them up, Luna and Kali get so excited — it’s clear they adore her! Sam is truly an angel, and we feel so blessed to have found her.

We were out for a whole month and we wanted to make sure that our dog was going to be taken care of like she was at home. We looked and looked, but there was always something that we didn’t like. Finally, somebody told us about Happy Tails Dog Sitting. It is not only the place, but the person who will feed her, who will watch her, who will love her unconditionally. This place has everything, besides she picked up and dropped off our dog at the house clean, smelling beautiful and with both the dog and her with a smile. Samantha provides exceptional in home care as well. She cares for your dog as her own. You can take a worry free vacation knowing that your when you return dog has had the best of care. She has taken care of our other special need dogs in the past, that required numerous medications and care and without exception they were well cared for. More recently she cared for our hyper-active Boston and he loved every minute with her. I highly recommend Samantha.

She goes above & beyond to make the entire experience of dropping your baby off so it’s less stressful for fur baby & owner! She helps with picking up & dropping off too! She’s such a blessing, don’t hesitate to use her.

It’s not often we choose to board our dogs and sometimes unforeseen circumstances can occur that leave you helpless searching for someone last minute who you can trust with your loved ones. Our dogs are our children and they mean the world to me and my wife. We can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve had our dogs stay the night at someone’s house in a 3-year span. The point is we don’t trust anybody to watch our pups, but Samantha was the exception to this rule. When I first met her she invited me over to their house and I had the opportunity to chat with them while they were introduced to Kona and Penny. We chatted for 45 minutes while the dogs ran around their beautiful and clean backyard. I felt comfortable with leaving our kiddos with them. While we were away, they would always send us updates and photos of how our dogs were doing and have accommodated us and our crazy schedules countless times. We had a traumatic event occur recently and within an hour of me saying I need to drop off the dogs and catch a flight to the other side of the country they responded without hesitation and said, “We got you!” Samantha has an extensive background with animals that puts my mind at ease in the event something weird were to happen. Cannot recommend Happy Tails enough!

I absolutely recommend Happy Tails! I have used Samantha's services since Feb 2020. She is an incredible person and care taker. She definitely has the dogs' best interests at heart. I love how the dogs have free range in the house and the choice to be on the furniture-- it is not a typical boarding facility where they are in their kennels/crates/"suites" for most of the day, limited to very short bathroom breaks, and only allowed extra play time if it was paid for. Even when I moved to Austin, I still brought my dog to her if I had to take a trip. She is the only dog sitting service I trust. I love her pupdates. And I am confident that my dog has had nothing but great experiences and felt comfortable staying there. I even worked for a dog boarding facility for a while and had access to free boarding, but I would rather drop my furbaby off at Happy Tails. I am living in San Diego now, and I still haven't found a professional and quality service like Samantha at Happy Tails.
