Our golden retriever puppy Cora stayed at Happy Tails for a weeklong residency program with trainer Chris. We are so impressed with all the progress Cora made working with Chris, especially with her leash manners. He has been super helpful after the training as well. We had a follow up session with Chris where he offered suggestions for us. We highly recommend Chris at Happy Tails for any training program, you will not be disappointed!

We cannot say enough good things about Chris at Happy Tails. He worked with both of our pit bull rescue dogs during a very difficult period when they were fighting, and his guidance was absolutely critical to restoring stability and safety in our home. Chris is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and practical in his approach. He not only helped address the immediate behavioral issues, but also taught us how to better understand our dogs and manage situations proactively. His training methods were clear, effective, and easy to learn, which gave us confidence as owners. What truly sets Chris apart is his ongoing support. I brought my dog Sunny in for training and boarding,and I’m so impressed with the entire experience. Sunny is sweet but definitely stubborn so I knew Claire had her work cut out for her. She handled it beautifully. Claire was patient,calm, and incredibly skilled. She took the time to understand Sonny’s personality and worked with her in a way that really made things click. Sunny is noticeably more aware and now has great manners. The boarding portion was just as positive. I was completely at ease knowing Sunny was in caring, capable hands, and the whole staff did everything to keep her comfortable, happy and well supported while she was there. Very grateful for the effort put in to Sunny’s training by the whole Happy Tails crew.

If I could rate 100+ stars, I would. I brought my puppy there for classes about 6 months ago and did the entire residency program soon after. I was given detailed take home instructions which I followed religiously! My dog is so well behaved and polite; it’s scary! Kate, Claire, and Lindsey are all so sweet and pleasant to work with. They take care of my dog so much and my dog has a blast during his boarding stays and Fit Dog sessions. I would recommend Happy Tails for everyone. The training was worth every penny!!

We brought our dog for puppy training initially and then we had him in the obedience training residency program. It really was worth it. Being first time dog owners, it was a hard adjustment and Kate was so supportive and was willing to answer any questions and jump on the phone when we were running into issues. Kate is very friendly and kind and is very accommodating to needs. Also, our main trainer Claire worked directly with our dog during the residency program and she also was so helpful, and it was honestly amazing how much our dog improved. It was a night and day difference! Claire has been so supportive even after the residency program ended. I highly recommend Happy Tails!
