We worked with Harlem Events’ DJ Cahrel (Carl) for our wedding and we could not have had a better experience. The booking process and music selections was so easy. We had several calls with Anthony (owner) and Carl (our DJ) throughout the process. Their portal made it so easy to select some must plays, preferences, and do not plays as well as set up the specific songs for different parts of the day (walkouts, dinner, dances, etc.). Carl did a great job of editing our first dance song to be a little shorter for us and was an amazing emcee all night. Having a PACKED dance floor was one of my biggest goals for the night and he did an amazing job of mixing in some classic wedding songs with all of our must plays to keep us dancing. Carl rolled with the punches of some of our interesting reception moments, my husband’s college friend did an impromptu Backstreet Boys karaoke moment, we had a T-shirt toss, and even a special surprise Spider-Man show up on our dance floor (planned by my lovely husband and one of his groomsmen). Although some of our “must plays” didn’t get played, I cant complain because of how wonderfully he read the room and kept the vibes going. I cannot thank this team enough!

DJ Harlem (Anthony) WAS THE BEST DJ EVER. He brought the house down.. There was not a single person seated all night at our wedding!! (see dance photo) He was extremely professional and so easy to work with. Music and audio was super important to my husband and I because we love to dance and also we were sharing personal vows so we wanted to make sure the audio was loud and crisp during our outdoor ceremony. He executed flawlessly and the audio was perfect. The timing for music walking down the aisle, the timing for first dances, speeches etc... all the little details.. were beyond perfect. Anthony is also just a great guy, super friendly, professional, and funny. We loved working with him and if we ever have another large event/something that requires a DJ, he is the first person we will call. We rented a dance floor from him and it was so professionally installed and looked fabulous (see photo). Lastly, my husband and I were traveling a ton leading up to our wedding (I was racing in Japan for a month) and got back about 10 days before the wedding... safe to say that it was chaotic. Anthony was so accommodating with our schedules and his online portal that he uses made it so easy for us to upload a Spotify playlist of songs that we liked, so he could curate the playlist around that. Fabulous. COULDN'T RECOMMEND DJ HARLEM ENOUGH!! 100 STARS IF I COULD :)

Although our bride & groom's first dance song was cut short and we didnt hear many of the songs we requested, we still highly recommend booking Harlem Events for your wedding and other events. He ultimately set the tone for our wedding at the Umstead Hotel. He played music flawlessly during our ceremony and most importantly, had everyone on the dance floor during our reception. We enjoyed his 360 booth, were happy that he provided a dance floor, lighting, and the most beautiful Harlem cloud & sparks combination, photo provided below. Thank you for your exceptional services. I am still very grateful that you had our wedding date available, as we planned our wedding in a 5-month time frame. I'm looking forward to an opportunity to book his services in the future. DJ Harlem was the absolute best wedding DJ and emcee. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor after it opened and we've gotten so many compliments since. He did a great job reading the crowd and playing the right songs at the right time to keep the party going. The photo booth and checkered dance floor were also major hits. The whole team is so professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend DJ Harlem Events if you're looking for a DJ for any event, especially a wedding!

DJ Harlem is the “Goat” when it comes to weddings!! This was a high-end luxury event but we partied! He is professional and easy to get along with. He gives advice on songs and also meets with you at least 1-2 weeks prior to your wedding to make sure everything is perfect. Our guest love to party and he was the perfect DJ for us. Everybody was on the dance floor the young, middle aged and older adults. My guest said we didn't even have time to catch our breathe because he kept the music and crowd going. Me and husband would highly recommend DJ Harlem and his team. You will not be disappointed. We also had the 360 booth as well which was a hit for our guest.
