I have higher expectations from this store. I previously purchased a couch and some other items, and everything went smoothly with the delivery. Based on that experience, I purchased another couch, but I still have not received it. The delivery has already been rescheduled twice. Today, I was told it would arrive first thing in the morning, but when I called at 11:30 due to an appointment I could not miss, I was informed that my delivery was now scheduled for 12:30 as the next stop. I understand that delays can happen—previously due to snow and last Saturday because of illness—but being promised first delivery on Tuesday only to have to call and find out what’s happening is poor business practice. I simply cannot wait all day without clear communication and reliability.
Best sales people in town, David helped us above and beyond picking out our furniture. We bought a living room suite and when it was delivered it didn’t work out like we thought it would. He helped us exchange it back for a different set. No other furniture store will do this, David and his staff went so far above what they had to. Haverty’s is the best!
My husband and I were shopping for a new bed frame to match an existing bedroom set. Our sales associate, Spencer was genuinely interested in our needs and spent time with us looking at two bed frames, including how they were constructed. His knowledge of furniture construction helped us make the right choice. You don't find many sales associates who will take the time to not only highlight the "look" of an item but also how it was engineered and built. He is an asset to Haverty's. The store associate at the office was very pleasant to work with, too. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she also made the experience a pleasure. We also appreciate that Haverty's sells quality furniture that's built to last and not pressboard crap you see in so many furniture stores today. We will be back for future furniture purchases.
Great service, great selection. The sales gentleman William was so helpful. He called a few days after delivery to ask if I was happy with the purchase. The delivery guys were amazing. They will rearrange to assure the furniture is where you want it. I highly recommend Havertys.
He’s always has nice furniture, not too expensive not too cheap. Helpful sales people. I’ve purchased lots of furniture here through the years. Highly recommend you check them out.
