This was the first CPA firm that would bother to call me back and set up an appointment out of several that I called in San Antonio. It was an easy and convenient process to send them my documentation via dropbox. At the beginning of my appointment, JD informed me that rather than incurring the cost of them preparing my taxes, it would be better if I did them myself, but that he would be happy to answer any questions I had. By the end of our conversation, I felt I could prepare my business taxes. He wouldn't let me pay for his time, and he was very helpful. I would recommend them and hire them in the future.

Stay Away!! After new mgmt took over, I’ve received nothing but over-bills and surprise charges/bills. Even received a hefty surprise bill for a FORM email they sent me where they just copied & pasted my name! They never mentioned or discussed they’d send bill me for the subject matter of the form email. Just one of the continual surprise bills they sent. Another time I received a surprise bill because, according to them, I talked to them too long during one meeting with too many questions on my taxes… and received another surprise bill last season because they said they had a question on my taxes, and instead of simply calling to ask me, charged me and sent a bill out-of-the-blue because, according to them, their question took them longer than usual to figure out. As a long time client, had enough of these new mgmt “business practices” and had to leave them. They treated me as their atm, not their client.

Haynie & Company has been my accountant for many years and came highly recommended to me by an attorney. What is most impressive about this professional organization is how easily accessible they are to any accounting questions or concerns I may have. My office manager works directly with Denisse who is always prompt, helpful and friendly.

Our company uses Haynie & Company for their accounting 3rd party audit services annually and they help us translate our cash based books to GAAP accrual books on a quarterly basis. Haynie & Company have recently partnered with us to help us with payroll as well. Haynie & Company has always been professional, responsive, and overall a great business to work with from a business owner's standpoint. We have used them for a number of years and have never been disappointed. They help us focus on what we do best, which is to design and build homes for families.
