From the time Hecho is opened its doors in Canberra, I’ve been a regular. I always visited all the restaurants in Melbourne and I knew how amazing their food and service has been. The Kingston restaurant doesn’t disappoint one bit. The food is impeccable and the service is excellent. Kancho has been a constant person I’ve seen on the floor and she’s so good. Also the drinks are amazing too.
The food was consistently delicious and beautifully presented, with generous portions that just kept coming. Every dish was fresh, flavourful and clearly made with care. The drinks were flowing, perfectly balanced, and we were never left waiting. A huge shout-out to Kancho, who absolutely made the experience. She was attentive, friendly and genuinely invested in making sure everyone was having an amazing time, all while keeping things relaxed and fun. Her service was next-level and truly elevated the whole bottomless experience. If you’re looking for incredible food, great drinks and standout service, this place is a must. Ask for Kancho — we’ll definitely be back!
The food and atmosphere was great while also on time. The service from our waitstaff, Nabina was outstanding the whole night! She was very friendly and joked along with us making the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend coming here for birthdays, social events, meeting friends and food.
Salvador was an incredible waiter and made our first experience at this restaurant extremely memorable. The food came out very fast, and was absolutely delicious! The mango frozen margarita was delicious too. All of the service we received tonight was absolutely top notch. We will definitely be returning!
Highly recommend booking but they do take walk ins. Loved this place, we went for an early dinner and managed to walk in and get seated. They got busier and atmosphere was electric/fun. The staff did an amazing job accommodating rude customers. They just kept smiling and enjoying their shift. There menu had a lot to choose from and they also had a dessert menu. Alcohol jugs definitely worth it. Definitely a must visit in Canberra. We would come back. 20 mins from Hotel Realm, if you didn't want to drive.
