John has been such a surprise blessing for my hair care. I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair that I usually feel SO bad having someone manage. I’ve been working on setting up a new persona for myself, with hair that makes a statement. When I went to John with visions of bold copper hair, he was super supportive but broke everything down in a way that made so much sense. Knowing this was a big change, he suggested a less “dramatic” upgrade to bridge the gap between my current hair color (dark brunette with blonde highlights) and my goal (a beautiful, bright copper-red). He did not disappoint! The first session was perfect. An upgrade, but nothing too crazy. I received so many compliments, and as the days went by, I couldn’t wait for our follow-up appointment. At my next visit, we talked about how I felt about the new color and whether I was ready to transition to a deeper red, and I was all in, so we went for it! His excitement about the color made me 10x more excited. When he did the big reveal, I was BLOWN AWAY. I’ve had purple, blue, and pink hair before, and this is by far the best color I’ve ever had. I feel so confident, and I get stopped every day with compliments on my hair. If you’re feeling like you want to explore new colors, John is the one you want to see!
Noelle is the BEST! She fixed my crazy color when I tried to go from blonde to brunette and she’s an expert stylist who I’m so thankful to have found, she always works with my crazy schedule and is a sweet angel! The front desk staff is also so kind I love everything about hello lovely!
I came in with a bit of a hair disaster. We've all been there, right? John took incredible care of me and saved my hair, from me! He was kind and knowledgeable. He taught me about the products he was using and answered my questions about styling my hair as a busy mom with limited experience. He performed a miracle on my very dry and brittle hair and he even saved much of my length and fullness. Will definitely be returning to this salon and to see John. The salon itself is darling. Great decor, decent selection of products, very clean and well kept. I didn't interact with any of the other staff as they were all busy with clients but the place was busy and cheerful.
Terrible experience. My hair used to have blonde highlights which I was told would be preserved is now orange. My inspirational photo was all blonde with a copper base. My hair is now bright red and there are orange pieces and splotches of dark. This was a 4 1/2 hour service and I paid $330 for this. Malia only said she would “blend” the base color and no refund and blamed this on a “miscommunication”. I’m now having to spend more money on products to remove the bright red demi color and go elsewhere to get my blonde back. Be cautious on who you trust with your hair here.
10/10 Recommend this place. It was my first time here and I felt welcomed like I have been coming here for years. Malia, made me feel so comfortable she asked me questions on what I wanted how I felt about this or that, she made sure I was happy with everything she did every step of the way. Malia is the best i recommend her!!!! The best stylist there!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back for her :)
