This was my first time at Hello Sugar but my 3rd time getting waxed 🥴 The waxing experience was a 6/10. My esthetician, Carolyn, seemed really sweet and nice 😊 The appointment went by with no issues. When I left and sat down in my car I felt hair pulling on my butt. I thought “oh it’s just a little residual wax, no big deal”. I experienced that before at the last place I got a wax. I get home, clean up a bit, eat, start winding down to turn in for the night. Start to undress, and there is wax ALL in my panties! I’m like oh wow! She spent a lot of time cleaning me up so that was unexpected. Then I bend over and still feel the pulling from earlier on my butt. I reach around and there is, what feels like a glob, of wax still stuck to me! I’m thinking “ohmygoodness!” I’m trying to pull it off but it’s hardened and it’s stuck!! I decide to soak in a hot bubble bath to remove it. I use the bathroom, go to sit down, and wax falls into the toilet from my vagina 🙄🤦🏾♀️ IT’S SO MUCH WAX leftover!! All in all, it was ok but there needs to be an even more thorough “clean up”.
Today’s service was perfect from start to finish. Carrena made me feel completely comfortable and she is truly the best I have ever had. I am a long time customer and will absolutely continue coming back.
It was my first wax (Stephanie was my aesthetician) and it was absolutely amazing. It was painful for the obvious reasons but Stephanie was very professional and talked to me the entire time and she talked me through everything that was happening. She also allowed friend to stay in the room with me. 10/10 recommend.
I had the best experience with Stephanie at Hello Sugar! I loved that I was able to get an appointment at 8:25 before work on a Saturday — that alone was amazing. Stephanie was so easy-going and thorough the entire time. She asked questions before applying any serum, made sure I wasn’t allergic, and coached me through every step so I knew exactly what to expect. I felt comfortable, cared for, and never rushed. 10/10 experience — I would absolutely see her again!
I enjoyed my appointment this morning. The lady that did my waxing was so great. I had saw her last time. She is very easy to warm up to, very down to earth, let's you know each step she is doing but does a great job or keeps on til its great. No complaints at all.
