We stopped by to pick up our wine shipment last Sunday and had a wonderful time. Our sommelier, Isabella was funny, personable and extremely knowledgeable, but she also encouraged us to move outside our usual comfort zone and we tasted their ports and an incredible late harvest Chardonnay desert wine. We purchased both and my cousin ordered a case to be shipped to her home in Washington. Many thanks to Isabella.
The winery itself is beautiful - so charming with a lot of seating and shade. The service at the winery was lovely, and the wine was delicious. I highly recommend a visit! The only disappointment was due to the Events Manager's communication. I went to the winery for a cute date with a friend and to check out the location for my wedding. I fell in love with the place and got the EM's card from a staff member. I emailed them to inquire about having my wedding at this location in May of 2026, and it took over 3 weeks to get a response - and this was after I emailed following up because I was so bummed I had not heard anything. Unfortunately, the date was taken, but I was already turned off from looking at other dates or even considering having other events there. I totally understand people may be off for vacation, but an OOO message would have been appreciated for sure.
Wonderful service! Courtney did a fantastic job catering our tasting flight to our taste preferences! Very nice environment and loved the wines too! Moscato and Late Harvest Chardonnay are a MUST HAVES. Definitely recommend and coming back as soon as possible.
This charming barn is a little piece of paradise! Tucked away in Clarksburg, we decided to give it a peek because we had our dog with us. This is one of the few dog friendly wineries in the area. It did not disappoint... lots of shade, beautiful views, a couple nice trails to walk and see the property and gardens, plenty of seating, super knowledgeable and friendly staff, and let's not forget the delicious wine! I had the sweet flight and my boyfriend had the red flight. All 6 wines were really good! I ended up taking a bottle of "Hitched" home, a lightly sweet light bubbly carbonated rosé... perfect for the hot days of summer! Be sure to add this winery as a must see!
Our daughter's birthday party at Heringer's new tent area was a huge success! We booked a table for 18, but ended up with 30 guests. The venue handled the extra attendees with ease, and Naomi provided top-notch service. The tent area is perfect for celebrations – we highly recommend it for anniversaries, birthdays, or family gatherings. We're thoroughly satisfied with our experience at Heringer's!
