We love Highland Music Studio! Mr. Matt has been a dream teacher for my 6-yr old — it's the only weekly activity that she bounds out the door to get to with great enthusiasm! She also really enjoyed taking piano with Andrew. Additionally, I myself have enjoyed learning ukulele and piano with Travis. He keeps me on track while providing a relaxed and fun vibe. Golfam has been very helpful with scheduling and admin support (since I am opposed to portals). Finally, Jonah has made the studio feel so warm and welcoming, like a true community. I am really happy about the change in ownership. It is a felt shift.
Our daughter has been taking lessons at Highland Music Studio for about two years—first piano and now drums—and we’ve had a great experience. Her teacher, Andrew, is fantastic and does an amazing job connecting with her and her interests. She loves her lessons and always looks forward to going. Highly recommend!
Highland Music Studio is THE BEST! My daughter has taken lessons with Travis Medieros for 3 years and absolutely loves him. At first, the only reason she stuck with it was because she thought he was nice. But now she has a true love for music, so much so that she is picking up additional instruments. She even inspired me to start taking piano as an adult, which I do with Matt Bramlett-Sharer. He is equally amazing. I have learned so much from him. In just 2 years, I went from knowing absolutely nothing about music to being able to play pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and more. I can't say enough nice things about this place.
My 4 yr old granddaughter started piano lessons at Highland Music School this past year. I wondered at first if she might be too young but her instructor, Amanda Lynn, has such a gift for working with young children! She makes lessons fun and she is extremely patient and supportive. After attending my granddaughter’s first recital, it was very obvious that ‘Miss Amanda Lynn’ works her magic with All of her students, regardless of age or ability level. In my opinion she is a wonderful instructor!
Travis is an amazing human that teaches music with his amazing heart. Travis has been my 7 year old daughters teacher for the past 3 years. Each year her love for music grows and during her recitals she challenges her self, all the while Travis is supporting her every step of the way. I wished I had a music teacher like Travis growing up. He shares his love and the students love for music grows.
