Amazing food! The food, the service the atmosphere were all very far above what most would consider"normal". The place was very clean and well staffed. Our waiter was polite, cheerful, attentive without being intrusive. The FOOD....OMG it was all delicious and very attractive on the plates. The coffee cake was heavenly! The coffee was good too. We boldly recommend you try this place, you won't be disappointed.
Me and my friends had a wonderful time here at HomeGrown! I was look up potential restaurants for our next breakfast monthly meetup, and I came across this place. The high reviews, the cozy, minimalistic, and rustic aesthetic, and the visually appealing food made me think there might be great potential for this spot to be a memorable place to visit, and boy, I'm so glad I didn't regret my decision! This was one of, if not, the best breakfast restaurant we've ever been to in all of Omaha (at least, in my opinion). The warm atmosphere made you feel welcomed the moment you stepped your foot the door. The wait time for our food was reasonable, the service was superb, and best of all, the food was absolutely STELLAR! From its looks, down to the very last bite, I was just impressed beyond belief. It was what I call "made-with love" food; the kind that your grandmother would make for you. The only negative thing I have to say though was that the brewed coffee wasn't strong enough, and I found the Americano that the waitresses recommended to me wasn't what I was looking for either, but they weren't bad. It's such a small issue, that I would still give this place five stars.
Incredible. They have a seasonal section of the menu that changes every few months to keep things fresh. The menu is super varied and we had such a hard time choosing because it all looked good. Their sweets are immaculate as well; if cinnamon swirl French toast and homemade pop-tarts sound good to you, this is the place to be. Maci was an absolute pleasure as well. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this place. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I got salsa verde and pork dish, I replaced pork with chicken though . It was very filling and tasty and salsa verde made it fresh. My husband got avocado and turkey eggs Benedict , he really liked it as well. Kids got French toast, and pancakes from kids menu. Pancakes were big size and puffy, I’m usually not the biggest fan of pancakes but those were very good. Our waiter was Karlyn, she did outstanding job. She was sweet, kind, and made our stay very welcoming. I would recommend this place %100 if you wanna eat delicious breakfast and have overall good experience.
Must start off by saying I’m willing to give this place another chance, but… my first impression left me disappointed. We ordered the Salsa Verde Pork & Egg and the West Coast Wake Up Omelet. They use Canola oil and although the pork did have flavor, the rest of the dish seemed reallllly oily. Both of us had rumbles in our stomachs on our way home. The omelet was totally average. Nothing special about the side pancake either. The atmosphere however was amazing. We loved the interior. *quick side note if you’re a parent, they do not have a changing station in the restroom!* Today we did not order coffee or juice, so that’s a big reason we’re willing to come back for a second chance. Also there’s massive construction outside so parking and waiting in line was inconvenient, but again, that’s a reason we’re willing to go back. We understand that is temporary. Wish I could say better things though…
