Had a really great experience with Horton Auto Body. Brad is very professional and helpful. They are also very prompt with their services and communication. Prior to selecting Horton for my repairs I was quoted at another shop and was spoken to very rudely by the shop tech/manager and felt very unwelcome. Brad was the complete opposite and was incredibly kind and respectful. Will definitely use them again.

Edit: the owner has taken the time to reply to this review, insunating that I have some personal agenda talking ill about their shop, and asking why I hadn't brought this up to them before. Conviniently, they omit that : 1) I already had pointed out the most glaring issue immediatly, which they admitted to - and that itself was the strongest initial indicator of sloppy work and poor quality control. I was given reassurances that it everything would re-inspected and fixed right, so I wouldn't have to go back. And 2) a client that hasn't had their car for 4 months just wants their vehichle back to get on with their lives rather than continue dealing with disappointment piled on disappointment. They are surprised I haven't gone back to them, when the most logical thing to do in this situation is to cut one's losses. Apologies if I don't have days and evenings to book off to be at the shop to point out defects of their work. Here is an idea though: maybe if they are professionals of their craft, they can detect it themselves with some attention to detail before presenting their final product. But I suppose it is easier to just discredit your clients than exercise self-reflection and strive to do better. Original review: Choosing Horton Auto Body turned to be a disappointing experience. When my brand new Toyota was rear-ended, my insurance gave the option to go with any shop, so I went with Horton based on 1) glowing reviews, 2) their reassurances that they can restore the car to factory spec and 3) their Toyota-certification. It is totally understandable that it took 3 months to receive parts, and I was willing to wait as long as it takes to get a satisfactory restoration. When they told me the first the car is ready, it didn't take more than first few seconds of looking at the liftgate to see it was very obviously misaligned. I was told it is not a big deal, and it can be "shimmied" into place, but it would require keeping it for another day. Which I agreed to, because what other option does one have. But the fact that their own inspection hadn't picked up this obvious misalignement eroded trust in their attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, and one naturally wonders about how well everything else that one can't see was repaired. The next day when I picked up the car, it looked improved, but still not what it was out of the factory. The trunk latch loop is very obviously not centered and the lift-gate to panel gaps are asymmetric, in addition to not being flush when the door is closed. I've been told Horton offers a lifetime warranty on their work, but that means little when one doesn't have much confidence they have the attention to detail or perhaps the technical skills to fix the issue, in addition to the hassle and planning of arranging time and transportaion to drop off the car with them. On the positive side of things, the staff were pleasant to interact with, and the paint matching was good.

I had the best experience with Colin! I called in about my bumper having popped out, & he assured me that it was completely okay, but we could put a bolt in it for some extra reassurance. I super appreciated his honesty about the situation. He walked me through the process, and explained what he had done after fixing it. He put my mind at ease, and was easy to trust with my car! Thank you for being friendly and kind, and efficient with my car, Colin! I will definitely be recommending Horton Auto Body to everyone!

I can't say enough about Brendon and the service I received at Horton Autobody. This is the 2nd time I've had a vehicle into their shop this year. My brother Wayne has known Brendon for many years and recommended calling him for an appraisal. He did not disappoint. Brendon was able to juggle their schedule to get me in while I was out of province. They only needed 2 days once parts were delivered, however I was able to drop off my vehicle early and they kept it safe for me until I was back and able to pick up today. My car looks like new! I would highly recommend Horton Autobody to anyone needing work done. The staff are courteous, kind and know their stuff. Thanks again to Brendon and the Horton Autobody team for making my experience pleasant!
